I didn't know much about Trusty, but I checked him up and saw we even signed him in Jan. He is on loan and may probably remain there till he grows up like Saliba. Well I don't know much of him and can't rate him. And for your information, he is a CB not FB.

Exactly. Though if Pepe leaves we will need another winger and that's where Gnabry comes in. I don't trust Marquinhos to give Saka good competition.

IMO, City get them qualities in excess and are still in the market for more. Their reserve is stronger than many teams' 1st eleven. They will not miss Zinchenko and Jesus if they leave. I think it is 'personal lifetime ambition' of Pep to win CL with City ... Also the easiest place for Arteta to do business will be City for now... Because of the personal relationship between him and Pep. Arteta will not even make a move if Pep still considers a particular player his important squad member...I am sure the 1st person Arteta will ask about any City player is Pep. Anyways, I don't think Bissouma will be great for us because he won't fit into the style. The style is for the CM to be a ball carrier, passer, distributor and attack initiator just as Partey and Elneny. Bissouma is more like a defense minded midfielder whose game is mainly to break attacks.

I will take it that you didn't notice the defender I mentioned was Zinchenko who is actually a midfielder.

Besides, there is a reason the club is going for a new LB (Zinchenko or Hickey), and that's because the manager feels he can not stand having Tavares backing up Tierney next season knowing how T easily gets injured. So your opinion here doesn't count.

As for Tielemans, he isn't even my first choice. I prefer Neves. But he seems the most likely Arteta will sign and so I just have to accept the decision. However, I prefer him to your Bissouma because he fits in better in that Partey role.

By the way, what role do you think Partey plays? Because he is bulky and strong you feel he is more defensive because that's where most of you are looking at. Partey is in that team more for his attacking abilities than defending.

I don't even know why we are talking about Partey's replacement when the guy is not leaving us any time soon. Maybe the phrase should be "Partey's backup" in the event of Partey's getting injured again, in that case we would just have to pray for less injury and make use of the options we have.

Let's be honest with ourselves here, there are few players worldwide that can play Partey's position better than him, and if we must go for them, we should be budgeting serious money here. Like Roland17 often says, Partey is one player that can easily walk into any 1st 11 of any team and get a permanent place. We are blessed to have him and I doubt anyone is looking for his replacement at this time. We all saw how weaker we became and how clean sheet suddenly disappeared when he got injured last time. I will vote for him as the Captain of that team.

If we get Hicky, that means we have 3 LBs (Tierney/ Tavarez/ Hicky), what do we need 3 LBs for? not adding Cedric sef who can play LB..We have invested/ wasted a lot of money on defenders over the last 3 seasons. That midfield needs quality and depth which is what we lack. Our priority should be getting 2 quality midfielders and a very good striker.

For those of you who don't know, Hicky is nothing but a mini Tierney but worse on the defensive end. I watched him severally this past season when my Milan side played Bologna and he did not impress me to be honest and that is why I have not discussed him because I don't understand why we are going for him. More so, while he is a LB who can also play RB, Hickey played as a LWB in a 3-man defense which is different from what we do.

Realistically speaking..we don't have a reliable LB bro. Cedric sef should be preparing to move. I will take Norton ahead of Cedric in that RB sef
