ExpressBooking:

Decision letter is the beginning of nursing registration process. A lot of factors will determine your sister's fate and location where she will end up in Ireland.
For your sister to become a fully registered nurse with NMBI and get her Pin she will either do a clinical adaptation in an approved hospital or take the RCSI examination. Now listen attentively,
Both processes are cost intensive and most times nursing agencies gets people with decision letters to be interviewed and offered provisional job offer upon successful completion of clinical adaptation or the RCSI exams(under the sponsorship of the employer hospital)

Your sister if signed off after clinical adaptation will get her nursing Pin and resume work with the employer by converting her AWS(Atypical Work Scheme) visa to GEP or CSEP. Then if she goes the RCSI route, she will apply for exam visa to come to ireland and do the RCSI exams and if she passes, she will return to Nigeria and the employer who sponsored her will apply for her GEP or CSEP with which she will apply for employment visa to relocate and start working in Ireland. Most agencies and hospitals offering these sponsorships are based in Dublin and environment

From facts and evidence available to me, it's better your sister take the option of RCSI exams under employer sponsorship. E get why. People who went through clinical adaptation have sour stories to tell about it.

I wish your sister good luck and all the best

Please can you tell me more about the sour stories of going through clinical adaptation.
I really need to hear. I'm a nurse, too

Hi all, I've just been admitted to DBS and I'm requested to pay full tuition. Though I'm still trying to raise the requested amount €13,800. What are my chances of getting the visa if I am able to pay full tuition and still be able to have like 4m in my account as living expenses? Please sensitize a brother make I no if its worth it to start scouting for the money.

This Edubond thing looks great. But, what about a situation where one is still refused visa after paying for Edubond? What happens to the money?

Oh really? The funds will be refunded? Its cool then.

But if you show Edubond to the embassy, do you also need to show your bank account statement?

Scan and send the visa rejection letter to edubond and the money will be sent directly back to the source account.

To be honest, the accommodation crisis is not getting any better. You just have to keep at it. Keep checking Rent .ie and Daft ie every other hour for a place. They say during the summer there are usually more rooms to rent because students are moving out.

Good day. Please, I recently got an offer to study in Dublin (Griffith College), Computer Science (Higher Diploma), please, how concerned should I be about Dublin being expensive.

Also, I am going for January intake...
*With a tuition fee of about €11,000 How do I go about with proof of funds? How much should I target and how do I go about saving it up, for how long?

*Can I get Diploma in the same course outside Dublin, where accommodation is cheaper?

Please help. And I will need a personal guide who I can call for tips and advices. Thank you.

January intake? Are you sure about this? I thought almost all universities in Ireland admit only once (September) a year?
How much do you currently have that you want to save before January?
You will have to pay €11,000 for tuition fee
lodge €7000 for Edubond, then maybe have about €7000 in your bank account as proof of funds for visa application. But honestly, this part where after one has lodged €7000 with Edubond and still present bank statements of €7000 is discouraging me.

The total should be around €25,000 which is above 11 million naira. Accommodation, flight and other things not included. Mmh. Na wa ooo.

If you have €7000 edubond, you don't need to have another €7000 in your bank account.

How much are you using to convert to naira? I'm using 650 rate.

Also, I'm not concerned about the money, is, how do I build up my account?

This is a result of the reason for which you stated that you are traveling to Ireland. Number of entries is at the sole discretion of the visa Officer

Good afternoon guys, please does anyone here have experience regarding moving from stamp 1 to stamp 4 where the person concern is engage in a part time casual job apart from main employment which critical skill work permit was issued for ?

I understand that one of the documents that is require when requesting for a support letter is an employment detail summary issued to the holder of employment permit covering the duration of the critical skill employment permit by the revenue .

On revenue’s website , this employment summary shows all details of all employment that one has engaged for each year.

My question is please does anyone one know if DETE looks into this when issuing support letter as one is not allowed to do more than one job according to the work permit conditions? Your responses will be much appreciated. Thanks

You do not have to show proof of funds twice. The Edubond should be enough but it should not mean that your account should be totally empty after activating the bond.

If you are being sponsored however, your sponsor must show that he/she has funds left over for their family upkeep after sponsoring you

Hello everyone, I recently found a 1 year masters programme that is in the field I want. The issue is that it switched to being 100% online since last year. Can I still use the admission to get a study visa to Ireland?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by lemine: 10:25am On Jun 13, 2022

Use 4m out of that 10m to purchase an education bond. Trust me, it will save you a lot of head ache.

Edubond is the surest way to avoid finance related refusal.

Once you show just 10m balance,
1. they will look at inflow and outflow
2. Check if you provided receipts or evidence for lump sum lodgements
3. Request for TCC
4. Scrutinize your relationship to sponsor
5. Feel as if the money might still not be enough. Etc

It happened to me. I got refused even though I had sufficient balance

I had to appeal after applying for edubond.

I was hella scared I would loose my money but I didn't.

Submitted my edubond receipt and got the visa

Please I would like to know how you are able to pay the Edubond through the form A because it seems some banks doesn't know how to make the payment, can someone in out of nigeria help me make the payment on edubond portal?

Hello guys, I need help and information urgently.
I applied for my Irish study visa on the 4th of April 2022, it's been 11 weeks and no reply from them. I even had to defer my admission to September. Has anyone experienced delay of this magnitude? My sponsor is in the USA, could that be why it is taking so long? I read on their portal that decision is no longer than 8 weeks. What could be the issue?
