aggg bru @Shma has no idea that Gauteng alone has an infrastructure development budget that is virtually equal to the development budget of the entire Kenya.....

Also in terms of industries and manufacturing

You will see new sites all over, new developments all over the country.

They should take a Google maps tour to see what's happening,

And I told you foreign buyers account for ~1% of home buyers
While Kenya has 0.3% immigrants from Asia and Europe, With less than 2% refugees and African immigrants(the majority being Somalis And Sudanese).
Also, it's a very hectic and near impossible process for any foreigner to own land in Kenya. And if it happens, it's a lease for a specific period.

So, don't come with unverified information then stopple it with the word "THOSE ARE FACTS." when you don't know anything.

Kenya's infrastructural budget is $1.8B (Ksh182B) annually.
South Africa's infrastructure budget is R50.4B ($3.2B) annually.

How can Gauteng's budget be equal to Kenya's? Or you mean it takes 3/4 of the entire South African budget leaving 1/4 for entire SA?

My bru the R50.4 billion you quoting is just for our roads grin grin

"Spend on road infrastructure will grow from R50.4 billion in 2021/22 to R72.7 billion in 2024/25"

But now you know we spend twice as much just on our roads than you do on your entire countries infrastructure wink...... Let that sink in!!

Your latest budget for energy, infrastructure and ITC... Was Ksh335 billion

South Africa
Public infrastructure - R812 billion
Energy - R9.2 billion
catalytic and blended finance projects(for infrastructure) - 17.2 billion
ISA fund-R96billion

In other words SA spend about $60-64billion on infrastructure a year and Kenya spends around $2.8 billion.....

Compare apples with apple and Oranges with Oranges.
Public infrastructure - your budget is 4 times kenya - though you spend 65 percent on wages and 30 percent on recurrent expenditure.
That leaves you only with 5 percent - for infrastructure.
So if you budget is 130b (last I checked)
That mean you're spending about 7B dollars on development.

A lot of lies and half-baked information.

Don't hop from one point to the other.. We know a huge PC of the project in Nairobi for instance, is sponsored by private entities.

Anyway, back to the topic.... Apples for Apples
You spend R9.2B on Energy
" " R64.7m on ICT.
" " R50.4B on road infrastructure
Total = $3.8B
Kenya on the other hand spends ksh368B not ksh335B(why reduce the data?) on energy, ICT, and road infrastructure combined ---- $3.2B

$64B budget is a dream that is yet to see light. If you're confident enough.... Drop the source from your treasury.... I want to show you something.
