The OP might just be an IS-BE or ET trying to awake his kind lost in multiple reincarnation.

Heck, one missfire or something like that here on nairaland claims she is an ET trapped in reincarnation

She doesn't hide it when confronted but blends with the crowd when not,

I believe in ET life,

The bible Records the creation of only one man and one woman, so where did the other races. Come from, where the for k did these black primitives afraid of change come from??
What does this abbreviations mean?
IS-BE
ET

What does this abbreviations mean?
IS-BE
ET

IS-BE means a being that has a soul, or more precisely, a being that is a soul. Because we are all souls that inhabit a body. We don't have a soul, we are souls.

ET is an abbreviation for Extraterrestrial.

Walking along these muddy nineteenth century roads, I imagine a child would ask the mother. "Mum, why did they build the windows so close to the ground?"

And what an excellent question. Why are the windows on ground level?

We find this in every major city across our planet. In both old photographs and when we walk around the city today. Windows buried halfway or almost completely into the ground.

You seem to be a fool, the Portuguese documented it, they came and saw it there. You are so dumb, like your dumb father, otherwise you can ask him about history. The other states fell within days, British gun powder and canons was their advantage. You idiots forget that the British choose to focus on building weapons of war, because of their sinister agendas. But you slaves can not know history.
bow come its only African empires that fell within a week with less than 200 men. The so called bronze heads haven't been replicated 100 years later. I remember going to India and every nook and cranny has the Buddha heads plus all other artifacts as attributed to their history. Benin bronze head has no other replica and even till this day they find it difficult to replicate any of those so called wonders lol.. I can imagine how the Portuguese would come down to the Benin huts and rub their egos by claiming awe just to go back to their well developed empire and laff at the bush people that had never seen a mirror.... beat that. That's why till this day they come doing the same to our jokers that make helicopters that dont fly and say woooowww... just to go back and laff at these monkeys lol..

We see the old Euston Arch, constructed of pure sand stone in Eighteen thirty seven and streets unpaved, and full of mud. Why didn't these people prioritize the streets they walked on?

We should be looking forward for insight from the good people of Aba .... they have a similar history.

Hmmm...... can't wait for the argument. This can go in so many directions.... it wouldn't be wise to jump to conclusion ... just have to wait.

Even with our access to modern power tools, printable construction pieces and crane technology, we cannot reproduce this today, and more importantly, we don't reproduce this type of architecture today.

Well, firstly, I think why we don't see these structures replicated in modern times is because most of these structures are plainly redundant in modern times. Why build something as large as that with only one floor? A few floors? This is the reason why New York, for example, is littered with skyscrapers instead of these kind of building (to meet population demands)

Take a look as this modern structure below:

Looking at the skyscraper above, men may be wowed by such genius. However, with the knowledge I have in basic architecture and physics, I can tell you that all that was technically required was just knowing the properties and strength of the materials used in building it (steel and concrete in most cases) You may want to read more about what we call Statics in civil engineering.

Then, speaking of how these architects of old did it, below is a picture of two pages from De architectura by Vitruvius Pollio (An old book that was written by a Roman architect and military engineer. He dedicate the book to his patron, Caesar Augustus)

[Italian translation]

A lot of other architects used this book (and this was around 20-30 BCE)
Evidently, they shared a lot of knowledge on these kinds of things. No wonder why similar structures appear in all major cities of that era. It could be the same way similar computer technologies are built in every country that builds computers.

Going through the book, you'll realise that the author's approach is different from what we have today. It can be likened to a kid folding papers, making patterns and shapes (e.g., boats and airplanes) and documenting his finding without backing them up with geometry, math or physics.

Another thing that's noticeable with those structures, from an engineering POV, is their unnecessarily massive buttresses. This points to the fact that most of those structures were as a result of trial and error. The larger the buttresses, the safer the structure appeared to them. A lot of those buildings collapsed as well. Each time a building collapsed, the architects had a better understanding of the load-bearing capacity of the material and angles.

Their major luck was the fact that they used mostly stones for construction. Stones are a very interesting material...they withstand a lot of load for some reason. It requires less skills and precision to build with stones than steel and other materials!

Recalling my high school physics, I can't help but remember men like Archimedes, Davinci, etc. Math and geometry was a big thing in their days, however, not the conventional geometry. For example, If I gave you a thin sheet to determine its centre, you'll probably measure the length and width, then draw lines along the sides, bisecting each line in the middle, then finally propagating the lines to meet at middle (this is how we are thought in schools today). However, if you gave one of those ancient architects the same sheet to determine its middle, they'll probably just fold the sheet twice (diagonally), open it back up and point out the middle to you! Both method are dam.n right accurate!

Another noteworthy thing is the time they used to build most of these structures. For example the Cologne Cathedral (the image below) took over 600 years to be built. Lol.

Those architects knew crude geometry and physics, there's also evidence of them building models before scaling up. They also relied greatly on intuition. They somehow knew they could build to the heavens with enough resources and TIME.

Of course, it's really perplexing to imaging how these "dumber" ancient men built these structures, and I'll like to see your conclusion. I too have wondered how in the past. I'm really curious at this point as you might know something we do not know.

Then finally, speaking about the glaring fact that roads weren't given much attention then. Well, if you asked me, I'll say roads weren't the trend then. I've studied trends in the evolution of technology. Beautiful roads were not required until the amount of cars in circulation gradually started becoming a problem. Even though the romans officially constructed roads as far back as 300 BCE, those roads were over glorified paved paths. Even the US didn't authorize the construction of modern-ish roads until 1806—which are still nothing compared to our modern roads. Horses and chariots still dominated road transport then.

And speaking about technological trends, you'll notice that we usually master one age before moving on. Those constructions were mostly of stone (and we had long mastered the stone age)

The mechanical revolution came shortly after, and we've mastered it as well. Look around you, we already have genius rocket engines, vehicles, and asphalt roads to show for it (not roads for foot, horses, and chariots anymore)

We're now in the computer age (a hybrid age as some expert may say), you should expect to see more genius computer-related stuff as well.

Someone might see how our cars today are inseparable from computers, and wonder how we built genius cars in the past while completely "ignoring" computers. But that doesn't mean we weren't already geniuses in car construction before we needed computers.
The same way someone may see how our buildings today are inseparable from roads, and wonder how we built massive structures in the past while "ignoring" roads. The truth is that, it was plainly ridiculous to build concrete roads for horses then even though we were already geniuses in construction. Horse riders were less concerned about potholes and bumps. Lol.

P.S
Geometry is a very interesting field. It's funny how it's also one of the simplest fields out there. Perhaps the only field that directly translates simplicity to "complexity."
Even as kids, most of us built amazing things with papers. The funny thing is that, irrespective of the size of the paper used, you'll end up with the same structure if you replicated the folds of the paper. Speak of scales and models!

P.P.S
I know I should wait for your conclusion before writing, but I have no self control in interesting cases like this. Don't mind me.

I'm following, and I'm also taking notes of all your points—interesting points BTW. I believe you're building up to something that might tumble my yeye theories here. So, go on OP. You're doing well.

Alright so during the summer in these western nations, the sun rises as early as 6 am, with people still fast asleep in their homes. Maybe that's the best time for a photographer to get his best shot of the cities without the distraction of humans.

For the windows low to the ground, those are basements, for those of you that have been to Europe and US, I don't need to explain further. But if you have not traveled there before just google , "basements in buildings " its self explanatory.

Op. If you are looking for a way to take away the fact that Europeans built this architectural wonders , and somehow say the aliens did, then you did a very bad job at it. But even if aliens did built Europe and America we Africans must be really hated that they refused to help us out too.

Until we Africans realize that our backwardness is our fault, we will never make headway.

This is basically a summary of OP's thread.

Read the comment above yours that talks about basements in buildings and juxtapose it with your submission.

Which is more feasible or realistic??

Basically a summary? For an incomplete thread that can go anyway? Nawa, you people should calm down first.

And even if we know what basements in buildings for, there could be any specific or hidden reason for including basements. Let's wait before drawing conclusions.

For a lot of you that know me and have been following my work on this forum, you'd know that I've been committed to sharing information about serious and important topics that most of you aren't exposed to. I've shared a lot of information and I still haven't scratched the surface. I still have hundreds of more threads to create and many that I haven't finished.

All the information I've gathered over the last twelve years were stored on my laptop and duplicated on my external hard drive.

Yesterday evening, orange juice spilled on my computer and it fried the motherboard. I took it out today for repair and the cost of repair is almost the same as getting a new laptop

My budget now is $500 for a new laptop. Without a computer, I won't be able to access the information and deliver it like I always have done. When I get access to a computer I'll continue the post.

Without adding more information ... all the 'evidence' you so far provided in this thread was to support what theory/fact? Why can't you say? ... is it to support the buildings were there first and the people came after? You can upload all the info in your laptop... but what sense does it make if not in context? What is there for anyone to learn ... or chew on from what you posted to date? Is this thread supposed to be educative?... to spark debate? Bro... do some justice to your thread.

Ride on boss!
I will like to know your theory on why black africans are so backwards. We seem to be at least 3000 years backwards to our european counterpaths, both technologically and spiritually.
To profer solution to a problem you need to know the root of that problem.

1.Firstly Africans are not backward and the part you can't see is that maybe we are not meant to be like the rest of the world, have you ever wondered why African continent is the only stable land mass without natural disasters(default)? Even the universe is in peace with Africa, what a peaceful place to be.

2. Europeans intervention had obvious benefits which brought "indept defects"

3.It is encrypted in human nature to exploit each other, can you imagine what life would be like without religion, the gravity of evil human will show?

4.This survival of the fittest mantra is really DEEP, if you believe you are weak it's like an affirmation of nothingness in all inclination; that is exactally what becomes of you, think of when someone makes you feel this way, that is the attitude modern Africans put on toward life . A stranger shouldn't give the narrative of your story, you get to do that by yourself. This is the case in this part of the world which is why we have to rewrite the story or remain in pity and betrayal.

5. We all have to define LIFE , Africans at large need to understand the value and hope in been alive, we shouldn't allow ethnicity or tribe be a measure to the value we show toward life(each other ),a mother once told her son she would disown him if he attempt to pick a partner from a different ethnicity which he did and somehow the said wife from another ehnicity brought him grace and a more fulfilling life. If we learn to put love and the greater good (exactly what Europeans do) first the greatness African can attain would be magical.

Those are artist drawings of the cities during those years. The artist may not want to include human beings in the drawings. There were no cameras that may capture human beings moving around.
