April 28th- package sent via dhl (couldn’t get 2-way done at that terminal)
May 4th- vfs lagos received package due to the long weekend.
May 5th - lagos vfs dispatch to Accra vfs
May 24th- received in accra vfs/ transit to ircc
May 25th- received in ircc
June 3rd- processed passport back to Accra
June 9th - passport received in lagos

Seems I can’t have dhl pick it up (according to their CSR); Now I gotta pay 15k to get it sent via lagos vfs courier. cry

Wow, your timeline is not bad at all.

Yes you have to pay for VFS delivery service since you didn’t send in your application via 2 way delivery before. Have you received the information on how to request a delivery via vfs yet?

Thank you very much for your answer.

What if it is a case of separation, will he have to provide for the entire family of 4? Or just himself and the children.

I THINK same applies if it’s a legal separation (if there’s such a thing). Documentation would be submitted aa proof.

@ednut and others can pls advise if this is wrong

For this that their FSW AOR is 2019 & 2020. For the issue of POF, how were you able to do it. Considering the fact that you waited for almost 2years or more than that after getting an ITA. Did you leave the POF untouched or how did you do it? Just curious

Hi. With an AOR of 2019, I invested mine and forgot about it. Didn't touch it till I got PPR. Things to consider:
1. Invest it so it grows and it doesn't devalue. For example, you can save it in dollars, put in fix deposit or any other lucrative investment scheme. Seek advice.

2. Times are hard, applications are different, nothing is set in stone. I was never asked for updated POF, but it is common for a visa officer to request for updated POF at any point in time during your wait for PPR. After waiting for so long and after the many difficult rigmaroles, you don't want stories that touch. There are examples of this if you read further back. My advise, invest it and let it be.

Yes. You can edit your IELTS scores post-ITA.

What about trf number? Can that be edited as well?

The change of NOC is not even the main Koko..
The main one is the newly proposed C-19 bill. From what I understood about the bill; it will give the minister authority to pick some certain NOCs due to the job demands in Canada. It then means most draws will not depend oh how high one CRS is, but if your chooseen Noc is in demand. In my own eyes, FSW may then become like PNP with lots of uncertainty. In further details, when the bill is passed and gone active there is a clause that at the begining of each year, the Nocs that's to be invited will be listed out.
I just hope and pray this doesn't mess up the chances of many ITAs hopefuls especially next year

Allegory:

This kind of panic is normal post submission. Your letter seems okay from what you’ve described. Join telegram/WhatsApp groups with people of the same AOR. When they start passing eligibility, call or order gcms notes to see if you’ve passed too. Imo you should only send the second letter if your eligibility is taking too long to pass or gets a review required.

Alternatively, try to find someone who can assess nocs or who’s gotten PPR with the same NOC so that they can go through your letter and tell you if it’s okay for real or if you need backup.

Thanks so much. I have joined a WhatsApp so I will keep tabs with progress of others there to monitor eligibility timelines.

Try using this method to assess your WRL against the duties stated in your chosen NOC.
https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/283#96895306

Do what will give you peace of mind.

If you sincerely feel your letter is deficient update it via webform. It costs nothing to send a webform IMO. A document you send by webform should supercede a previous one supplied. You can send the same document weekly until you get confirmation via mail that it has been updated on your file.

If you are satisfied your WRL is ok, then leave it as is.

Pls read page 1, crossing PNP and crossing IRCC are not the same. Again, there are examples of people that crossed PNP and did not cross IRCC due to NOC, one of such is on page 1.

Ps: given what you wrote in red, how did you then choose your NOC?

All the best!

Thank you very much, I have read page 1, saw the refusal cases and even perused some NOC related judicial reviews, i noticed the cases had more obvious loopholes than mine.

To your question quoted in red, I chose my NOC based on Job title (Medical laboratory technologist as it is called there and medical laboratory scientist as it is called here, so it's pretty straight forward to conclude) and leading statement nailed it . But for some inexplicable reasons, I didn't get to see their own listed main duties at the time. In my mind, I concluded that it's that leading statement that one is expected not to copy and paste.

There is a contradiction I noticed now from IRCC, when uploading documents during e-APR.

Hitherto, spouse isn't required to upload work reference letter if Canadian experience is not claimed.

But now, once your spouse claims foreign work experience outside canada and it is added in Personal history. The document checklist will require spouse to upload work reference letter. Even though, the work experience was not gained in Canada but a foreign country.

This is to give heads up to new applicants to know how they will navigate it.

I read somewhere and someone advised that a screenshot of IRCC guideline stating WRL not required should be uploaded (makes sense). But IMO, if spouse WRL can be gotten it should be gotten please.

why do people like to complicate things Do not include spouse work experience in the experience entry profile. Just state under personal history. No need for all these mental gymnastics

Good Morning,
I have been a silent reader, been following this thread since i joined the pool in 2020. Every question i had was answered here. Recently received my COPR and want to share the timeline
Long Post Alert long but not that long grin
Family of 2
VO: CPC Ottawa
ITA: Nov 20

Then the tsunami of mails to my VO and webforms wink I sent both emails and webforms 3 times a week.

Re-Med request: 4 May 22
Kept sending the e-med sheet via mail and webforms (old and new links)

ADR (PCC, POF, Valid Passport, Sch A, Additional Family info): 6 May 22

ADR submitted: 10 May 22. Merged medical results to
PCC and Passport and uploaded to placeholder

ADR acknowledged/ 2nd MEP: 11 May 22

Called IRCC (3 hours wait) and was told everything had been passed, and to wait for RFV mail. Started researching with country to send passports to, VFS lagos was just not an option after reading about the wait time here. Decided on Kenya VFS.

RFV mail: 17 May 22.
Passport submitted to DHL: 18 May 22
Passport arrived VFS Nairobi: 24 May 22
Passport dispatched to IRCC Nairobi: 25 May 22
Passport arrived IRCC: 27 May 22
Decision envelope to VFS Nairobi: 31 May 22

Took the email from VFS to DHL for pick up same day
Envelope picked up: 2 June 22
Passports/ COPR received in hand 6 June 22

It was a really daunting journey, had to take my mind of it at a point. Came back to it early this year. Started disposing of items no longer needed at home with hopes that the approval will happen before the end of the first half of the year. This forum was also comforting, with words of encouragement that was in constant supply.
Praying we all will get our good news soon. Thank you

PNP nominees will get more ITAs than FSW/express entry candidates this Year and beyond, that's the direction express entry is speedily moving towards, FSW draws will now be modelled like PNP occupations in Demand draws.,no longer based on your high scores.
I Know couple of guys who have gotten ITAs this year through the PNP route with less than 370 CRS score because of their occupations which are critical in demand in these provinces.
It is inevitable.
Several FSW draws will now be program specific, when the bill is passed this month and no longer based on high CRS score when the Draws resume in July.
It will be bad market for IELTS, as people will bo longer be worried about retaking IELTS countless time in order to max out their CRS score.

Wasn't expecting it this soon tho

But we thank God

timeline coming soon smiley

Mail recieved around 4 pm today
PS: this just an inquisitive teenager who sees her parents driving around town gathering documents, seeing her mum talking to her laptop preparing for an exam. Ever since I was a child I loved going out of my comfort zone to find out abut something, that's what led me to looking for a website to get infos about what mum does, and then I found nairaland smiley
IELTS - December 2020
WES - September 2019- May 2020
EOI Manitoba- 11th March 2021
LAA - 28th June 2021
Nomination - 7th December 2021
ITA - 10th December 2021
AOR - 30th January 2022
BIL - 16th March  (done 30th March )
Medicals - 27th April 2022
1st GU - 16th March with an ADR
2nd GU-3rd May (ADR changed to Not applicable )
3rd GU- 4th May ( we are reviewing your medical result )
4th GU -20th May (medicals passed)
5th GU - 7th June(most likely security passed as we've called an agent before then)
PPR - 8th June
Family of 5
So I learnt about my parents' plan for relocation in 2019 but I didn't do my research then, because it wasn't in top gear yet, 2019 was just for WES
So my mum sat for IELTS in December, I didn't really know much bit I kept on praying God should let my mum pass the exams as it would make her happy
Meanwhile, In November, something really tragic happened to us, some thugs came to destroy the house we lived in claiming "they won the case of the house" in court
My mum's result came out, it wasn't what she really expected I can't really remember but she used the results to check her CRS score, it stood at 395
(she's in her early 40s with a masters and PhD in view, my dad had a masters)
My dad's brother encouraged us to continue looking into pnp programs, so when my mum had done tons of research she found out about Manitoba, my dad isn't really that close to his cousin ( Yoruba family wahala) but he reached out to her she agreed with an open heart, at this point I thought about why my dad doesn't really talk to her , she's a pure angel, it was at this point I found nairaland, i was in ss2 then  ( I had found it before it before when I was doing an assignment but I didn't understand the page because it loads too slowly and I wasn't a patient person grin so I left it)
I came here to read gists as I was a story lover, when nobody posts anything I would go to part 9, part 8,.... to read ppr gists, landing gists and all grin
To be honest I learnt everything I know about PR on nairaland
When Manitoba eventually gave us LAA my mum wasn't ready because she has seen alot of cases of rejections, my dad's brother called and said  ( do you want to loose this opportunity as Manitoba just opened the family stream after stopping people from coming in through that stream since 2019)
My mum decided to accept oo after my dad persuaded her then GHAM! !!, she saw PROFILE INELIGIBLE staring at her in the face, panic mode activated, she went from one group to another to ask for enquiries, thank goodness Manitoba was lenient, we submitted, after submission we found out my mum made a mistake with the day my dad's cousin became a PR, we submitted an LOE, my mum would call me and say see RECIEVED ,MPNP applicants will under grin
On a fateful day oo that's how my dad recieved a call from a private number, my dad doesn't receive calls while driving o, but somehow he picked this one thinking it was his brother in the UK, to tell him he'll call back, because he's always busy and has little time to call my dad, then Lo and Behold it was from Manitoba , my dad was shaking as per oyinbo voice grin then this conversation ensued:
VO:This is ****** from Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program
Dad: ok how can I help you
VO:this is regarding your application, your date of birth for me to be sure it's you
Dad : *****
VO: asked a question I couldn't hear because of the craziness on Nigerian roads, i was Scared to my bones, so was my mum
Dad : I'm driving right now can you call back?
VO: Why did you pick up the call in the first place  ( gen gen)
( deep down u trusted my dad would give her a good response)
Dad: I was expecting an important call
VO : OK then, is this time ok tomorrow
Dad : of course
The next day
VO called my dad answered well, we were scared that telling them about having a relative in another province would count against us bit it didn't,  the vo just asked why we chose manitoba over Alberta since my dad's brother was there ( again my daddy no dey disappoint)
Then we got one minor ADR to submit a clearer version of my dad's cousin's birth certificate
Around November or December  ( can't remember) My dad's cousin got a call from the VO
Amidst all these, my mum defended her thesis in August and did her convocation ion November after ASUU wahala
Then Boom!!! Nomination came in 7th December
ITA came 10th December
My mum's birthday was 12th December *talk about best birthday gift...*
We sef knew something has happened in our family the way, my mum bought surplus things ehn, to cap it all my mum's friends came to surprise us for her birthday, with her kids who are my age mates, we sha backed an almost  disastrous cake grin
POF wahala it was a lump sum, which was gotten from selling my dad's assets Manitoba accepted it (God's grace) but we didn't want to risk it, we were advised to put it in fixed deposit, which we did, and we'll still get interest sef grin
Let's just say this delayed our submission, se we submitted by January 30th
We didn't do upfront medicals, sometimes my mum would come to my room and start fantasising about how Canada will be for us, me that is looking for ways ppr will drop before WAEC starts grin
So BIL came on March 16th but we couldn't go immediately  ( I was writing my mock exams) that was when we thought we would be rejected we submitted ADR for IMM7455e via webform instead instead of on the placeholder in our profile, Thank goodness someone posted about it, but thank god a vo hasn't checked our profile ever since bil was issued, the space showed overdue but we were able to upload it still
we went on March 30th
April came people started receiving PPR  in 2022 groups ( ahh who say make we no do upfront medicals naa)
We booked for April 27th few days after my birthday, ( which I didn't like because I could have skipped blood test few days ago grin I don't like needles biko) after so much webforms and mails gotten from people from different groups we got a ghost update on EID UL FITR day ( day after fasting ended)
Then the second day another ghost update Medicals have been added to our profile, then on 20th May Medicals passed  ( celebration galore )
in our mind ppr should drop the next day (we called an agent, only security remaining to be passed,  medicals in progress )
week 1 went no ppr, week 2, we no see ( father lord, we dey here naa)
I KNOW WE SHOULDN'T BE WORRIED BECAUSE OF THE 2019, 2020 AND 2021 PEEPS, BUT THERE'S A FEELING WHEN YOUR AOR MATES ARE GETTING UPDATES AND YOU'RE STAGNANT, WE ALREADY HAD IT IN MIND THAT WE'LL JUST WAIT PATIENTLY BECAUSE THERE ARE OLDER AORS WAITING ( BUT IRCC fvvcked up) Issuance of ppr is meant to have a direction  ( we aren't supposed to be totally blinded with selfishness, we should be considerate, NO OFFENSE)
So fast forward to June 7th, another ghost update, we waited that night and didn't sleep (the whole family oo because at this point my brothers already knew what was going on since we went for medicals grin) everyone fell asleep in the living room
Lo and Behold after a very tough exam(chemistry ), God knew I needed something to cool off, my dad just told me when he came to pick me after r the exams that PPR has dropped, my classmates were looking at me like after an exam that was so tough I was jubilating , I couldn't talk oo grin
Everyone wrote Jamb, me I no write it's only my best friend that knows  ( Order from my Nigerian parents grin)
Thank you everyone for all you do, I've never seen so many Nigerians come together, to help each other without knowing each other before in my entire life
thanks for all you do
it shall end in praise for all of us
PS :I didn't proof read o, no vex
I still have 3 papers to go before I finish my exams, so I just typed this in appreciation
Strongly waiting for FSW draws to resume, when there was still fsw draws, nairaland was really fun, testimonies upandan, banters everywhere
before IRCC give us breakfast
Sorry for the long post I'm a natural talkative grin
