I got my notes but it's neither here or there yet. Your study leave can re-initiated from your office, i guess? But in the end we will surely smile and all these waitings will worth it. Let's keep the faith high

Teemenzo:

It is well. Shebi you still get gcms notes. My own notes request is more than 2 months now. No show. Maybe IRCC sef is confused. Study leave don slide since last year.

I greet everybody

I was refused a study permit today. First time applicant and I applied in Europe.

The reasons they gave for the refusal are:

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the section-216.html).

I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:

• Your immigration status outside your country of nationality or habitual residence.

• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.

• Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in
your country of residence.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements.

Please, I need advice on how to tackle these concerns next time.

Hi guys!!! This is the third time I will be asking for help, I just need the best counsel please na

My mum sold a property recently to sponsor me for my MBA, I have my offer letter, and I just made a term payment. I'm going with my husband and two children this September, I just want to know what best to do tp show proof of funds, do i get the money from her and do a notarized deed of gift or just use her account statement, explaining the lump sum and showing evidence of the property transactions.

Just want to put in my best shot as it is a family application
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Jenny255: 3:26pm On Jun 13, 2022
Hello DamDam,

In my opinion, let her send the money to you and you notarize the gift deed. Also write an LOE to explain the lump sum when it reflects on your account.

Also add the receipt of transfer to the documents you’ll submit for your application.

Finally write a really good convincing SOP why your mom is willing to support you and your immediate family.

I hope this helps and Goodluck.

PS: Ask the gurus on the platform as well, tag them so they can see your questions.

While my first advice is to order for GCMS notes, I will ask some questions relating to the points raised above as the reasons for refusing your visa application.

1. What is your status in your current country of residence. What is your status history?

2. Only you can give us more details about this.

3. How financially established are you in that country? Can you work with your status there?

What exactly is GCMS notes and how do I order for it.

I am currently on work permit. I studied masters here 5 years ago and since then, I have been on work permit.

I will be applying for a permanent residence 2 months from now and my current permit expires by December.

Where I disagreed with them is my financial status. I have paid 50 percent of my tuition and I have up to 25million naira in my European bank account. I also received money monthly in salary.

My current job might not aligned with my academic profession. I am an accountant
and my current role differ. But I don't think this should be the ground for refusal. That I am not financially stable.

I disagreed with them on this.

With your status, why not go for PNP or direct PR?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by kinkyhead: 3:59pm On Jun 13, 2022
Global Case Management System (gcms).
GCMS Notes provide valuable information on the current status and future processing of your application.
Hence, the only way to know the most detailed information of your application or refusal is by requesting GCMS Notes.
Only individuals present in canada can help you request for your GCMS notes. Some of the gurus can assist you on the request.

Just take it easy..it will come..you can engage in Volunteer jobs in your city..or enrol to acquire skills that may even help you when you enter Canada..There is nothing to be depressed about.. its not easy but you can try.
Hafeez6948:
Good morning guys, please i need suggestions on alternative study destinations to canada that offer clear pathway to permanent residence. I have been waiting for 3 months and 2 weeks for my ppr and my eligibility review has been ongoing for more than a month with medical and biometrics all passed since early April. I have submitted the following documents

My father savings account (opening 14m closing 14.5m)
My mother savings account (opening 4.5m closing 4.7)
My dads work id and pension statement
My dads salary account ( closing 3m)
Ielts 7.5
Bachelor degree from Russia 2019 (left before my visa expired)
Nysc certificate 2020
Unmarried but provided family documents and photo
I have one Siblings and i submitted her work id
Tution deposit 4000CAD
My masters program is completely in line with Bachelor Degree
Currently unemployed since 2021 (wasn't retained after service and didn't bother seeking employment cuz my japa plan)

I believe with these documents i could have easily gotten visa elsewhere. My mental health is severely affected, depression wan kill me and i don dry like person wey get aids. We nigerians are being unfairly treated by IRCC and at this point its risky for me to depend on canada only as my resumption is September after deferring from May which means i would not have enough time to reply incase its a rejection. Also with the election coming and my dad retiring next year its paramount i japa soonest.

Nobody is attacking anyone..just drop your transcript..Simple!!..Even if not immediately but just assure the house you will eventually drop it.. Whether it influences anyones decison or not! Just drop it!
Innit2022:
This attack is totally unnecessary and uncalled for.

Yes, it would be nice if he posts his timeline to satisfy your curiosity and others given the fact that this platform helps everyone. But if he does not you need to accept that and deal with it, rather than sounding the way you do.

Madam/Sir, 3 days is not a long time not to post. People deal with excitement differently and no one knows any1s story here. Worse off is your entitlement that you think he owes a duty to post immediately and if not others will not respond to him. If everyone went attacking everyone like you have done too, I do not think anyone will comment here about PPR, so be patient!

The truth is knowing his timeline will not influence your application, it's just a nice to know. So you do not have to be a pooper about it!

Oh someone did and it had a negative connotation to it, saying people won't help him (is this a cult?)! If you read my comments well, I have not said he should not help people by dropping his documents or profile! My point is that he will do it when he is ready! 3 days for God's sake and you are crucifying the dude/babe! A little patience and empathy will go a long way! Simple!!! What is that assurance going to do for you? What if he assures and does not do it? Will you find him on the web and chase him down! Focus on your focus here, get what you need and move on! No one person's application is dependent on another here.

If he does not drop his own, someone else will! All the others that have been dropping, no one told them to and we bless them for it but there are some people who get and never announce. If you guys are so sanctimonious, then perhaps you should start chasing all those who have told you at one point in time that they started their application but you never heard the last of it or what their result is.

This platform is amazing and is helping people. No need to turn a public forum to 'if you don't give me, I won't give you'. Help if you will and move on!

As a Nigerian living in Europe too , my advice to you is to apply if you have your permanent resident permit and if you have a permanent contract at your place of work.
Lastly try to get your gcms notes.
