I actually created this thread to tell my story, so here it goes. So, before this ASUU strike wahala started there was this one girl that I thought was mine. From time to time, I'd share money that I had with her, if I had 5k I'd give her 2k and I continued like that until one very unfortunate week where I had gone broke and I needed about 200 naira to pay for a group assignment and I swear to god mehn I didn't have 200 naira, school sapa is the worst iykyk. Sha I asked this girl if she could help me with 200 naira, heck I even explained the whole situation to her told her that the assignment was worth 30 marks and if I lose those marks I'd just fail the course because it's one werey lecturer that teaches it. Trust me, nothing could have prepared me for her reply this girl looked me dead in the eye and said "I'd rather buy biscuits with that money instead of giving you". Omo I cried to my hostel that day nobody could console it was when I told my guys that they eventually gave me 500 naira to pay for the assignment. Since then I've been very stingy as hell, the girl still textse from to time telling me she's broke and everytime she does that I tell her I'm broke too. Once bitten, twice shy. 24 Likes 1 Share |

U are a good person for giving her that reply that you are broke. I'd have told her to her face that I'd rather burn the money Or dash it to a mad man ( albino mad man) than give it to her. I noticed that women are what they are through my sister . Like she derives joy in me begging her even if it's for five naira but when she needs from me she cunningly comes and I give cos she's my sister . But when it got too much , I lock up .
