Kwestionair:You can't make sense with insults... SouthEast region has the lowest registered voters in Nigeria, this is fact. No matter how Una run kitatakita reach to get PVCS, that number will just change a Little and that's all. Whatever number you add will only swear the voters number in other region because most Igbos will register elsewhere which make the South East voting power even weaker. Do you think the Hausas and Yorubas are foolish going back to their home town to register and vote. This is the reason they are politically more advanced than the Igbos. How I wish they inform their people to go back home and register to vote, the region would have had a strong political values... Right now the South East do not have any political values. They are the least most important. This is what you all should have done instead of shouting OBI up and down. OBI obviously put you guys at disadvantage because your voting pattern can be predicted. Now it's obvious no Igbo man will smell the Presidency anytime soon. OBI should have remained in PDP and Jejely take the VP slot and develop from their and see what the future holds. But Igbos rejected the post of VP, a position they have not even attained before in the Fourth Republic. Igbos have a better chance at PDP and APC than in any other parties. Meanwhile no dey insult person old enough to father you... He get reason why ooo |

byteem:Majority of the Christians you are talking about are in the SS and SE who are not going to vote for him anyway. Majority of the Christians in Yoruba land will not mind and will still vote him. Its about the choice that gives the most benefit. Choosing a xtian northerner gives very little benefit compared to a Muslim. Even if he picks the pope he is not going to win Anambra, Tarawa or Southern Kaduna so why bother? |

If u understand politics, u will know that okowa was the best candidate at this point because 1. Pdp only need the north and south south to clinch the victory 2.okowas humility is undisputable 3.pdp already has a hold of almost all the south eastern states 4. Governor wike remains committed to his party with or without the position of the vp |

You got it all wrong sir, Wike said it before and still repeated it even after the southern governors forum chose him, that he doesn't want the post. He is going to have a very powerful post if his party wins. This is no hear say sir. |

Advocate500:Yes my analysis and that scanty block vote will go to Obi. That's why Atiku picked someone from the South South because they have better political values (numbers) that has not aligned totally. Let me tell you why Igbos don't have political relevance right now. They have the least voting block of all the six zones. They kept dragging Porthacourt, Lagos and Kano with the indegenous people there. When they register to vote, they do so in those areas and not their home town. The political figures of those areas get significant boost and electoral values. But their votes in those areas can't out number the indegenous people hence it has little or no values. The Yorubas and Hausas always travelled back home to register to vote in their home town, its cultural for them to do so. Igbos only traveled back home for Christmas for show off. |

PDP much less likely to win with Okowa But I guess Atiku prefers him because he should be malleable, compared to Wike who is garrulous, obnoxious & opinionated all at the same time. And Okowa should be able to spend almost as much as Wike. The big question is will the Ibos vote for him? He's not real Ibo, he's Delta Ibo so likely won't get their votes, so long as Peter Ob i is on some other ticket elsewhere. And I hate to say this but Wike understands elections, Nigerian style, evidenced by how he outplayed the APC during his own re-election polls. Atiku has lost his most valuable resource, arguably. Unless Wike somehow agrees to be DG of his campaign in exchange for the office of Chief of Staff or Minister for Petroleum, or some equally useful post. |

splashbaby:the only reason why the PDP will not give their vice presidential ticket to south west is equally the same reason south east did not get PDP vp slot , their son is the ballot box. Enough of this tribal hatred induced analysis, no region have more political relevance than the other, so long as alliances with the north is concerned. |

Nnamnugochi:South South is made up of different ethnic groups. Considering them as a bloc is wrong analysis. Okowa is a minority in tribe and South South will scatter along individual interest in their voting. |

tunene66:Udom Emmanuel would have been Atiku's best option but Atiku was trying to play smart by picking Okowa a Delta Igbo to split Peter Obi's vote because Atiku knows he really need SE and SS vote. If he chose Udom Emmanuel, that would have been far better for him |
| Re: With Okowa As Atiku's Running Mate, Will PDP Win The Presidential Election? by splashbaby(m): 5:49pm On Jun 16, 2022 |
Advocate500:If South East has any electoral values, Atiku would have picked his VP from there.. He did the last time and they failed. The least voting block cannot form any meaningful alliance with any region and deliver victory never. |
| Re: With Okowa As Atiku's Running Mate, Will PDP Win The Presidential Election? by franchasofficia: 5:52pm On Jun 16, 2022 |
splashbaby:Igbos don't have scanty vote, say what you know. Out of the 16million voters in Southwest, Igbos make up at least 2million of them. Out of the 12million voters in Southsouth, Igbos make up at least 2million of them. If you add Igbo voters in all the remaining 3 geopolitical zones, you will realize that Igbos are the only single tribe with the highest voting power spread across the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria. If you doubt, speak to anyone working with INEC central voter register. |

Nnamnugochi:You are so on point with the analysis, ignore those who are saying you know nothing, rather they know nothing. Do they think southerners are fools? The north picked an unpopular puppet has VP, his performance has governor has been woeful, just cos they know controlling wike will be difficult. Peter Obi has got I and my immediate family's vote sha. |
