I hope this effectively ends the debate about the warriors needing Durant in becoming a dynasty. They just needed any effective small forward and good role players. Good times ahead. Poole and Kuminga heating up. |

Please I hae a question Is green still running deep? There's one bro that was so confident that his celtics would use superior defense and physicality against the warriors Is green still running deep? ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Skrrrrrrr: 9:50am On Jun 17, 2022 |
Thoughts.... The Celtics need a real point guard, someone that can actually facilitate an offense, and read the floor. This would make the job a lot easier for Tatum and Brown. This series was won on Defence, the Boston defence limited the warriors to less then 110 points per game, they scored less than they did against Dallas, Denver and Memphis, the difference however was that the warriors no 2 defence Totally smoked Boston's offence while Bostons No 1 Defence couldn't do much again Curry.... He beat them over and over again. They never solved Curry even in their wins. The one game they managed to lock up curry, they lost. Going into the Western conferences finals, Doncic and Tatum were ranked as better players than curry. He owned them both. They aren't there just yet but they could be. The amazing thing isn't just the win, it's the fact that this warriors Team is not fully Blended. Their core played less than 30 games together. They have a very high ceiling. I expect to see them back here, this time next year.... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 10:55am On Jun 17, 2022 |
Skrrrrrrr:Good takes. In fact in that game 5, I thought it was more about curry missing open shots than the Celtics Defense. I also feel that experience was a major difference, the moment felt bigger than the young studs of the Celtics but this is just the beginning, with little tweaks they should be back. As for the warriors, right now they are going to be very dangerous going forward because they are now playing with house money. If there was any doubt about their legacy it's been expunged now. There is zero pressure an they still have some fuel left in the tank.. It's time to stack one or two more rings |

I never start my own agenda. I am still warming up. Meanwhile, Wardell is the first NBA player to be unanimous MVP and Finals MVP. |

greypencils:They weren't even a dynasty before now. This ring is what made them a dynasty. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:07pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
We lost the series after game 4. We needed a 2 game cushion against a great team with 3 HOF players who have earned their respect in the league. I was more disappointed with how we lost game 4 than 5 and 6. We could not limit our TOs, especially by our 1-2 punch and that cost us this title. Also, excellent plays by A. Wiggins, who was unplayable on both ends throughout this series and the Chef when it mattered in game 4. While this hurts, considering the teams we had to navigate and the fact that we had a chance, I am consoled by the effort of the entire team. This team has a ring in them if we keep the core together and add more scoring, especially from the PG position. This is a learning curve for this team. Shoutout to Ime for an excellent job in willing this team to a Championship game. Congratulations to the Warriors, well deserved! #Greenrunsdeep #Celticpride #Leprachaun |

KNIGHTBlaed:Baba, this playoffs was a wild ride for me, a lot of emotions and the manner with which we lost the series in game 4 still hurts. After game 4 loss, I knew there was no way back against a multiple championship side like the Warriors. But like you said, this team will remain in the conversation in the now dreaded Eastern Conference and I believe they will find their way back to the Finals again. By the time they got to the finals our 1-2 punch were already burnt out physically, Tatum especially. I am proud of them and Coach Ime, he proved his mettle. #Greenrunsdeep |

Roland17:sometimes the fun is in the ride. I wouldnt feel too bad if I was a celtic. Dem boys played their hearts out every series. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:31pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
birdman:Absolutely true. This Finals experience against the Warriors will be instrumental in their mental development and how they approach pivotal games going forward, it is one of the reasons I am glad we played the Warriors in the Finals. The Warriors test every facet of your game during a Finals series. #Greenrunsdeep |

This offseason is already rough. We traded Wood for Boban. Haba, that first round pick is useless ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android22: 4:55pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
Before I scatter the place, Celtics deserve credit. They are worthy finalists. Unlike many Warrior's fans, I was not offended by the Celtics fans or the toxicity of the TD Gardens. Marcus Smart etc and their antics was good for the finals. Horford blowing the kiss in game 1. It was all fun. Funny enough the only person I hated about Celtics was our very own Ime Udoka. I never wanted any Nigerian coach to lose so badly in my life like I wanted Ime to lose. Arrogant, careless with his words and buying his own hype. He was very disrespectful about the warriors before game 1 and I never forgave him for it. Kerr was so intentional about his glowing praise and about how dangerous we all knew the young Celtics would be. But Ime won't give warriors the same credit. His words when asked about the impending series was that Warriors winning 111-107 at the garden was at a point when the Celtics were still discovering themselves and that by the time they did, they beat the Warriors pretty badly at Chase center. Not because Smart had Zaza Pachuliad Curry? That Klay and Draymond were on restricted minutes having just come back from long injuries? Well, he now knows what it is to play the warriors. And yes, Steve Kerr ran circles around him. |

Revisionism will soon make this ring, easy. So to prevent that I just want to remind people that ESPN felt Boston had this surety of beating GSW.
