Yes ,when you print out your application form, then you sign.
That’s why they said 2 fully filled application form, no copies.the signature on pen signifies original.

@timbs001,

Greetings bro, please I have a question, for duration of stay, what will I fill in the application form?

If I fill electronically can I print and sign with a pen?

Hello bro.
For duration of stay, just put indefinitely if your contract is unlimited. Yes you can print electronically and sign with a pen.

Anyone who has interview date this June?
Let's discuss the process to be sure we are on the right track together.

Hi everyone,

Travelling in a few weeks and wondering if anyone could share tips on how package foodstuffs like dried fish and palm oil. Can I carry along ghana-must-go bag?

Thanks

Hi guys... I don't know if anyone has done Skilled Immigration Act interview lately. I'm in my third week post-interview as defined in their SLA and still no response yet. Is there a possibility of exceeding 3weeks? Thanks

It's taking more time now, more than the 3 weeks due to delay from the foreign office in responding to the visa approval. Estimate between 4 - 8 weeks. It can be sooner but keep this in mind and just relax. Its a patience game.

It is adviceable to use transparent zip lock Bags to pack ur food stuffs. You might be prohibited from travelling with palm oil ( few people pass through without wahala). Incase of the 'Ghana must go Bag' get the very strong type and get it wrapped at the airport if possible. Safe flight.

If you can get 1L plastic bottles u can put the oils in them and then wrap it with a bubble wrap. For the fish it should be dry and wrap. Ghana must go is best to use when carrying your food stuffs and wrap it at the Airport when u are done check the weight of the bag

Did my Blue card interview today

My interviewer honestly told me that I need to be patient

Considering that I should have been in the UK since if I took the UK offer, it's kinda difficult to wait. But we wait regardless

Hi everyone,

My wife received approval mail for her family reunion visa this week (Finally a sigh of relief after 15 months!). Her passport, travel date and insurance have been requested.

The issue now is that her current passport expires in September and she plans to travel in Aug.

She had to hold on to her passport because we did not know exactly when she would be called for interview and she needed to show same passport used to book her appointment for the interview (according to the rule on the website)- hence she could not apply for renewal.

All contacts made to Nigerian immigration service indicate that renewal can take up to 2 months.

Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced this before. Do you advise she sends the current passport to the embassy, or she waits for renewal and then present the new passport? what are the pros/ cons of either actions.

Thanks all

Congratulations realjay, please can you share your timeline? When did you apply and your ref numa please...
Did you say her passport will expire by this September or it has expired already?
If the passport is going to expire this September, I will advice she submit it but before submission, she should try and ask them over the counter for better explanation

Hope not too late.
Don't use Ghana must go, they almost embarrass you at the airport when you use it. Check all your foodstuff into luggages and scatter them amongst clothes.
Freeze your palm oil, wrap with towels, carry at least 2 bottles in 2 different luggages, if they see 1, then the second may likely pass thru.
During scanning at the entrance, immediately they flag your bag for liquid, don't even let them open it and search, just quickly tell them it's oil and plead, they may allow you with some begging. But this will distract them so that the second bag with oil will pass. Either way it is a win-win.
In Europe no scanning of luggages unless you carrying a lot of luggages and are suspected by customs when leaving thru. Exit.
All the best.

Yes bro. That is the normal procedure. You'll get them back when they request for the passport to affix the Visa.
