why do some people who don't have money in Bitcoin, but news about dip always give them joy ?

I know a friend who check Bitcoin price every now and then just to see if I'm doing well in life.

Some get winch, but me if i SHORT the market my only prayer is for B.T.C to go down down, that's what's happening right now. I have a friend like that, that is happy as B.T.C is going down and he's not even a trader

I believe it is possible. Part of the biggest problem people in crypto have is listening to so- called 'experts' on youtube or twitter. They will be telling you about fundamentals on how crypto market is healthier than ever but they won't be there when your portfolio is taking emotional damage. I remember 'experts' saying that btc never drops below it's previous high during a bear cycle but here we are. It is good to learn how to read the markets, even if you don't want to trade. I always tell people to study blucora from the year 2000 on trading view. A healthy trend is slow and steady, an unhealthy one isn't. You can make money in both but you must understand the rules of playing unhealthy trends (extremely volatile trends). Unhealthy trends -the market usually fails after 3-5 large bars. By bar 4 on the monthly, you have no business buying that market till there is a PULLBACK on the MONTHLY unless you are a daytrader or scalper. Take a look at blucora image and compare it with btc image i posted. Both failed 4 bars after the high of the previous cycle was taken out. for blucora that was 211 dollars, for btc, that was 20k dollars. LONG term investors- take note of this for next cycle. This format always plays out in Nigerian stocks as well.
