Yes if it takes at least 8 months to complete the program and if the program is done in a DLI ( designated learning institution).

Hmmm.. This feeling of being rejected isn't funny.
I applied March 22, only to be served breakfast on June 16th.

Reason:
Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be
accompanied by a new processing fee.

My Tuition fee was about #43k for a 1 year program
POF: cad $ 11,000 in savings and cad $50,000 study loan.

I thought this was sufficient, since the total covers everything.

Please, gurus in the house, any advice on how to fire back with a stronger application would be much appreciated. What I have done differently?

43k for a year program wow that’s much. What type of program is this ? Are you traveling alone or with family ?

Ekesbaba1:
My people!!!

Thank you to everyone on this platform for the assistance so far.

After being scammed by an agent of 5500 CAD in April 2021, I decided to apply by self.
Submitted April 1st..
Biometrics April 8th..(Abuja)
Biometrics Updated 9th..
Traveled to Dubai for honeymoon May 16th..
Got a request for medicals June 1st.
Did the medicals June 8th here in Dubai for 795 aed..(E really pain me oo)
Medicals passed and updated 13th June..
PPR June 17th, just 4 days later..

I'm still surprised ooo.
In all, I give all the glory to God!!!
I prayed for grace and He answered me..
I resigned from my bank job in June 2021 after the scam with high hopes, got fired from my other remote jobs by August, Got depressed and couldn't travel home that year.
But my guy came through for me, inspired me that the hustle just started and introduced me to church(Dominion City), I became focused on God, got some of my remote jobs back, got my self confidence back, married in March, apply study permit April, Go honey moon for Dubai May, PPR June.

This is my testimony!!!
God really works, if we can be faithful and keep our side of the agreement.
More Good new loading as I will continue to be faithful by the enablement of the holy spirit.

He will visit everyone here according to our needs in Jesus name!!!

Hi

Do your research on either a Thesis-based (research) Masters or a Course-based (no research) Masters in Linguistic programs , go through their admission requirements (usually minimum of 2.1 and good GPA in your last two years in the University e.g the GPA of 400L and 500L for a 5-year program) to see if you are qualified to apply.

If it's a Thesis-based Masters you wanna go for, you will most likely be required to secure a supervisor (a Professor) in a Linguistic department of a Canadian university whose Linguistic Area of Research or Specializations aligns with yours before you can apply for the admission. If you get accepted by a Supervisor (Prof.), you stand a good chance of getting a Funded Grad. Scholarship, it might be full or Partial.

To secure a supervisor (Professor) whose Research Area or Areas in Linguistic align with yours, take your time to go through everything inside the link below and put it into action.

https://www.nairaland.com/6957495/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/648#113697664

If it's a Course-based Masters which is most time self-funded , you can directly apply for the admission If you meet the admission requirements

In my own opinion, Yes the GLOBAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT is fine, since you are showing career progression with it, i.e it aligns with your Work Experience as a BUSINESS OWNER.
