I am got admission to Georgia southern university to study Msc in Electrical Engineering And university of New Orleans for this same course.
Please I intend to get my visa at Lagos Embassy.
Classes are starting in August 5 for GSU and August 14 for UNO.

My questions.
1. Can I get two form I20 from both schools.
I just got married in Dec 2021 and I intend to go with my wife.
2. My wife maiden name is still on her passport. Hope this won't have any effect at the interview.
3. What are the chances of issuing F1 visa to newly wedded couples with no kids yet.

Please for usa study f1 visa interview ,main applicant and family on f2 have to pay the visa fee together ?or it can be paid sperately even if dey are going to book and attend interview together as a family and secondly if a student book urgent appointment due to 60 days rules will it be whole family be given the interview slot together if approve or just the main applicant alone?

There is nothing like paying visa fee together. You will make separate payment for every applicant. You can then decide to book your interview together or separately.

If you apply for emergency appointment and it's approved, it's for you and all family members that will be attending the interview with you.

I have scheduled visa interview for a university A. But I decided to go to interview for university B. When I booked appointment on CGI portal, there was field to enter university name and zip code (see screenshot). Now I want to change name of university on CGI portal, but there is no option to change university name in Update profile tab.

Please someone tell how can I change university name in CGI portal without cancelling visa appointment.

Careful with this advise please. You can’t just change status “if you want”. EB1, EB2, H1B must be sponsored by an employer, unless the person meets the high standards to self-petition for the EB1-A & EB2-NIW.

If I may ask, what's in the sponsored visa and self petition option I should be careful of So if I want to self petition for EB1 and the rest in that category, is there anything that says I can't IF I WANT TO?? Or is there anything saying I can't go for H1B if I want. Obviously there are steps to that but I'm not going against my visa if I do either of them so what exactly are you saying??

Good Afternoon House , I am a F1 student for fall 2022 , Resumption date of September 5th 2022, I booked my first visa interview appointment for April 2023, i join the abuja search group and i got date then reschedule for June 14th ,due to my passport renewal process i rescheduled again till July 11th , I now find out that there will be public holiday for Eid kabir on July 11th , I am confused whether i will be rescheudled by the usa embassy themself , alot of people advise i will be email by the embassy , Can i still reschedule myself for the third time or will the embassy email and resschedule for me their self?? 1. Which of these schools offered you funding? If one of them, then get the I-20 of the school with funding, If both, make a careful consideration of your options and get just ONE I-20, if none offered you funding, consider the odds for funding and make a choice, but you still getting one I-20.
I am not sure why you are considering to get two I-20 documents, you can only attend one of the schools at a time.

2. Congrats on your wedding. I do not think there is a problem with your wife having her maiden name on her passport. However, it is advisable to go with evidence to show that you are legally married such as your marriage papers (most important of course) as well as some marriage pictures etc.

3. If you are the one going to study, your wife gets F2 visa and not F1. F2 visa is a dependent visa.
I suggest that if the VO asks why she wants to go with you at this time, be ready to provide solid reason why she would leave her job to go with you. such as Our marriage is still young and about X months old and highlight how your wife will be a strong emotional support for you while you are in the U.S.
