yes he is. Saw some of his games for derby in the second half of last season and he is very talented.

Pacy and a good left footed dribbler. Has an eye for goal as well. A bit like chukwueze. Can play anywhere up front

a mid table epl team will be better not Fulham that will be relegation candidates next season

If he can as well get a deal from any of the top 10 clubs in serie A that will be great too

I pray this move materializes, will be a huge step up for valentine which will enhance his development as well as put him in frame for a leap to bigger leagues

He'll have to work hard to earn the starting spot for super eagles cos it looks like Uzoho has really impressed Peseiro.

That's even if he still wants to play for us sef, I don't really understand why he's not being in the team lately.

Sadio Mane’s Senegal are going to shock the world in Qatar 2022.
Similar to what Senegal did in 2002 World Cup

Hopefully they’d get to the semis
I’m rooting for them.
Take a look at their group two decades ago
Senegal scales through a group that had Denmark, Uruguay & France wow
Denmark is a very organized country with technically gifted players
If Nigeria ever plays Denmark we always get trashed

Mané says his dream is to win the World Cup with Senegal.
Looking at their players, do you think this is an achievable feat

Hey, thanks Yinkeys... I like this clubs badge lineup below only for the puzzle fun ofcos and also for how it shows just how high quality the Senegalese line up boast players from high profile clubs across Europe.

Only very very few or maybe none sef grin on this thread can name them completely (without checking anything online) apart from myself and Chriskels (our in-house super expert on-and husband to babes from- Senegal, CIV, and Mali).

GK:
Chelsea - Edouard Mendy

Defence:

PSG - Abdou Diallo
Napoli - Kalidou Koulibaly
Bayern - Buona Sarr
AC Milan - Fode Ballo Toure

Midfield:

PSG - Idrissa Gueye
Leicester - Nampalys Mendy

LW:
Cagliari - Keita Balde Diao

RW:
Watford - Ismaila Sarr

CFs:

Liverpool (Now Bayern tho) - Sadio Mane
Villarreal - Boulaye Dia

Easy peasy. wink

Awoniyi's deal to Nottingham almost done. It's a big gamble in my opinion. Really rooting for him. Hoping he'll look back later this year and be glad he made the right decision.

I think Awo has always wanted to play in England... If not for his inability to secure a work permit,he would have joined a championship club on loan while still at Liverpool...

Senegal can beat Denmark and Uruguay and hopefully hold France to a draw.

They are in a favourable group.

If France does not sack their coach or improve very drastically between now and world cup, they're the easiest in that group o. Denmark isn't child's play.

What a joke! Now that their slot has been given to another team?

How do you think those players (most of whom are based in U.S) would feel about this?

Nigeria’s perfect win record in the opening stages of the Afcon qualifiers did not push the three-time African champions up the global ranking

FIFA, the world’s top football governing body, has released its ranking for June with the Super Eagles now ranked fourth on the continent and 31st on the planet.

Even before the ban, the players were being disrespected by the NBBF... They practically executed the qualifier on their own... But if by some luck we get reinstated by to the world cup, I don't think most of them will refuse to turn up . One thing I've learned about our female basketball team is that they are very passionate about representing the country...

The ban was one of the most foolish decisions Sunday Dare took. Had the ban not been lifted it would have set back Nigerian basketball at least a decade. However, the girls didn't "execute" the qualifiers on their own, the ministry funded the trip. Dare boycotted the NBBF and reached the girls directly hence the haphazard way the girls turned up. The coach wasn't even sure he was supposed to be there has they were owning him (they still do).

I beg to disagree about Sunday reaching the girls directly, doesn't the girls and their coach lunched a go fund me account some time ago,

cause this Sunday reaching them directly is news to me

You can verify this from the girls themselves. The ministry funded that trip. Not sure if the timing of the payment but the ministry did fund the qualifiers in Serbia. They also funded the qualifiers for the guys too. Even though they boycotted Kida, it wouldn't have been possible for any of the team to play if Kida didn't give a go ahead. FIBA still had to confirm from Kida and he accented hence both teams played.

The ministry then went ahead to organize the super 8 for the men's league in Abuja without the NBBF. Rivers Hopers won and were supposed to represent Nigeria in Rwanda. This time Kida wrote to FIBA that he wasn't aware of any competition and Rivers Hopers shouldn't represent Nigeria. Sadly Hopers were replaced with another team from Africa.

I think it was at this point Dare decided to hit Kida (the girls being collateral damage) where it hurt most. He pulled Nigeria out of international basketball and took total control or running basketball in Nigeria while not necessarily stoping the NBBF from doing their thing. It's more like " now you no longer have the team that gives you guys attention, let's see how you run".

Can't wait for either of them to leave
