Good evening everyone I hope my message finds you well.

Firstly I appreciate and commend you all for your great contributions towards the success of many Canadian study applications so far, God bless you all and let's keep the good work going.

So the thing is I've submitted my application on the 20th may, and I have done biometrics on the 27th respectively

I did submitted my personal bank statement alongside that of my sponsor

My sponsor is from my maternal side which may be considered as third party sponsor

The question now is i operate almost 5 different accounts with good transaction history in 3 different banks accounts, I submitted the one the has the most available balance, please I want to ask is it ideal to submit more than 2 or more personal bank statements apart from sponsors own, just to let them know I am financially stable to cater for all the needs that may arise in the future concerning my study in canada, if YES since I have submitted my application already will it be advisable that I should contact the bank to send the statement to IRCC or I should request for hard copy and upload via webform.

I humbly look forward to your reply and opinion.
Thank you and God bless you all

May we all recieve that email of joy as soon as possible

Good Evening NL...

Please for someone with HND in Electrical Engineering, who graduated with an upper credit (3.19 on a scale of 4), did his NYSC at PHED(Nepa) and currently works with them too... Which schools and courses can he go for with relatively low tuition for Pgd? Please your suggestions are needed! Thanks.

For low tuition, everyone's definition of low tuition differs, he should do his research on each Program and school, check for the TUITION amount for international students , and go for the one that falls within his budget.

Please, if you are doing student express, do you need to do medical test for submission?

If you talking about the NSE(Nigerian Student Express) stream, you do need to do an upfront medicals. Along with IELTS and MBS. The stream doesn't seem to be effective anymore but you can still do it. I did that on mine and it took 13weeks to get PPR, however mine was a family application.

Well done boss,
in this place "If you see that 1 year PGWP is not going to be enough for you to qualify for PR, ensure you enroll in another one-year course immediately after the first one", I have a question. How can I tell if the one year will not be enough immediately after I finished that 1 year course?

Before I answer your question, let me start by informing you why 1 year study is risky but not impossible to get PR.

After your study, you'll get 1 year PGWP if you graduate in a one-year program. To qualify for CEC— one of the Canadian pathways to get PR— which will open the door into receiving an ITA, you must work for 12 calendar months in a job with skill level A, B or C..

If you do not get a job immediately after graduation with a one-year PGWP, there's no way to complete 12 calendar months, hence CEC pathway can't be utilised, although there are other ways.

Ways to know;
1. Job prospects.
2. During co-op, you'll know your chances of getting retained.

Meanwhile, to be safe, you must have secured an admission in advance irrespective of whether or not you will use it. You have up to 90 days to apply for PGWP, during this time, you can make decision.

Better still, close your eyes and enroll in another one-year course immediately after the current one.

Please if you are already in Canada from Nigeria or you have booked your flight to Canada kindly help a brother.

I wanted to book our flight to Saskatoon(a family of 3), but the agent they introduced to me said that I can't buy a one-way ticket.

He said I have to book the return tickets which is extremely expensive.

How true is this please?

Please help

I started this like a week to the completion of the 3 months (according to IRCC's calendar but to me, 3 months was completed last week)

At this juncture guys, what i will say is your application is unique to yourself alone, don't let anyone confuse you, have Faith in it, eat study visa YouTube videos daily and every night like me, follow international students on line (telegram, i.g,...), follow latest Canada schooling/traveling news, do your assignment as i did mine and God crown me my 2% making it 100% perfect, without Him it can never be perfected, but remember """Faith without Work is Dead""", that is it.

And i will also advise, tackle every areas in your SOP, don't take chances and Pray daily. I said i won't stop praying from 22nd Dec till the day of reception, yesterday and now we still keep on Praying.

WHAT WORKS FOR OTHERS MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU BUT YOU CAN LEARN FROM IT AS I HOPE YOU'VE LEARNT FROM THIS.
DO YOUR ASSIGNMENT THROUGH YOUR INTENSE RESEARCH.

NOTE:- I did it myself including the POF's, the running of account for like 7 months, applied myself through enough researches on GCKey Portal and this was actually my First Time to the Glory of God and His Compassion that births Mercy and Grace over me.

To all PPR hopeful, yours dEy come this month, shhààmííñ àdùrááá!!!

Bye for now! Now i can have a good soothing sleep mehhhn.
(Sorry this is long, didn't plan it as such)

Gurus in the house Please help me.

I did my biometrics on the 26th of May and I received my biometrics number and expiry date shortly after that. Under the biometrics update on the IRCC portal, it was showing "We need your fingerprints to process your application. check your biometrics request message."

But I noticed it recently changed to "We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message."

I have sent an email to vfs office Lagos and they said that biometrics is transmitted as soon as its done. Should I be worried ? Do you think I should send a web form to IRCC with my biometrics number, with the small slip they gave us after capturing?

Did your agent tell you why you cannot book a one-way ticket? Please may I know why you decided to use an agent to book your flight? When do you intend to fly? My spouse has booked a one way ticket by himself (we find it cheaper than using an agent) but hasn't travelled yet. Do you mind sharing the price your agent is quoting?

1,752,213.00 for the family of three (2 adults and one infant) one-way.
The agent is a friend to my uncle and my uncle beloved so much in him.

Since I'm the only one studying out of the three, he said they will not allow me at the airport.

Not necessary.

Hello, please does it mean if one’s spouse writes a letter of sponsorship. Affidavit of sponsorship and notarizing isn’t necessary. The signed letter alone is enough.

The person mentioned a "letter" and not an "affidavit". I have also edited my answer so as to include an answer to your question.

Normally, an affidavit will accompany a letter.

For you to call a document an affidavit, it means their is an oath notarized by either a commissioner for oaths or notary public.

Commissioner for oaths are also notary public who notarizes an affidavit or declaration.

Thanks for responding. I guess I confused you a bit. My question is the sponsorship letter can be used without any of the above. Just a signed letter by my spouse.

No, you didn't confuse me, but trying to put words which I didn't say in my mouth, hence, the further explanation.

No, you should include an affidavit.

The amount for one way sounds high to me especially if you have an infant (below 2 years ) who will not be paying for a plane ticket. You could just seek a second or third opinion from other agents which will guide you to bargain with your uncle's beloved friend The amount also depends on the airline being booked though. We used Kiwi.com to book the flight. Some people also use skyscanner. cheapoair or Expedia which are all good websites. Check them out and see even if you still want to use an agent it will help you bargain better prices. If you decide to book on your own, make sure the flight is not transiting through the US or UK otherwise you will need a transit visa. If it is transiting through only one European country you won't need a visa. As for the last part of not being allowed at the airport, I have never heard of that so I will leave it to gurus in the house to answer.

There is no limit to the number of bank statements to submit; more funds show you are financial capability. You can use Webform or email to send the statements. Get mybankstatement if the accounts have lots of transactions.

Hi guys .

It’s been over one month now and my biometrics and medicals hasn’t been updated.

I reached out to an MP in Regina where my school is located and they said I need to send a mailing address before they can assist me .

Please what can I do?

Was hoping once the MP contacts the embassy they will notice my application and update it.

It depends on the type of Visa the accompanying family members have, if visit Visa, they won't be allowed to board.
