Tinubu is not guaranteed of block votes from the North. He is running against two strong Northerners in the North. His inability to secure block votes in his Southern region to add up his share of split Northern votes with Atiku, Kwankwaso is the biggest undoing for him that will cost him the election.

It does not work that way. North puts North first, even more now that Buhari is not even running again. So u think Northern votes will love Tinubu over Atiku and Kwankwaso two Fulani men?.
The votes will be split. None of Atiku, Kwankwaso or Tinubu will pull a bankable majority of votes from the North. Again Middle Belt (North Central) is a swing zone. It is a zone made up majorly my non Hausa Fulani indigenous people. A candidate with bulk votes from the South can just take Middle Belt, Its an easy walk to Presidency. That was Jonathan's 2011 winning formula.
