LANDING GIST

Read about the guy that travelled early here after confirming from CBSA and decided to give it a shot. Got Visa in February, missed January and my MBA didn't have a May start date. The long wait was tiring and I was like I might as well leave. Booked BA for June 1st.
Canada is presently warm and beautiful and their cooked meals are eatable...Can't wait to have y'all here...Cheers

Congratulations bro.
Was Covid test compulsory at the MMA?

Please how did you make your payment on kiwi.com. my dollar card isn't working
MaameU:
The amount for one way sounds high to me especially if you have an infant (below 2 years ) who will not be paying for a plane ticket. You could just seek a second or third opinion from other agents which will guide you to bargain with your uncle's beloved friend The amount also depends on the airline being booked though. We used Kiwi.com to book the flight. Some people also use skyscanner. cheapoair or Expedia which are all good websites. Check them out and see even if you still want to use an agent it will help you bargain better prices. If you decide to book on your own, make sure the flight is not transiting through the US or UK otherwise you will need a transit visa. If it is transiting through only one European country you won't need a visa. As for the last part of not being allowed at the airport, I have never heard of that so I will leave it to gurus in the house to answer.

Any body my friend can switch medical date with in either Lagos or Abuja. I wouldn’t mind giving the person a tip. She got medical request since 17th June.
Thank you

Good day all,

I submitted my application March 10th too. For those of us who have been waiting, lets try as much as possible to take our minds off our application. One way to do that is to get busy with other things. I understand that the wait can be draining but anything u have no control over just make the best out of the situation. Lets commit it into Gods hands and cast the burden upon the Lord.

Remember the word of God said in Phil 4:6-8 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God , and the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. This scripture has been helping me.

Personally at times, i get sad and anxious but i remind myself that i have no control over the situation then i hand it over to God. The moment i do that i feel a lot better. We must remain positive and happy no matter what. Lets turn our prayer for PPR to thanking God for PPR and you will see him show up soonest in Jesus name. Please lets talk to ourselves to remain positive.

It will surely end in praise, in Jesus name.

The truth is that there is just so much to thank God for, he kept us alive, gave us good health, He has even guided us through out this process and provided the finances to apply for Study visa, So many people would have wanted to process their own but no funds. That same God that started this will complete it in Jesus name.

With or without PPR, God is still good and He remains faithful to the end.

Maybe you know what I don't but your visa determines your length of stay on foreign soil and once it's expired, it's expected you leave irrespective of a valid study permit.

I'll still recommend you consult with the International Students' Office of your school though. It never hurts to find out.
rotexteymie:
Thanks for your suggestion. A visa is a travel document and only required for traveling. Only study permit is needed within Canada and my study permit started counting yesterday. I hope you understand.

Thank you.

Bro thank you for replying me. My financial information is like this:
Estimated tuition cost = 14970
Estimated cost of living = 11100
Estimated additional expenses = 1200
Funding type = Family friend
Funding Amount = 3000
First mpower amount requested = 28000

This is how my financial information is, and I'm required to submit a 10000 bank statement. Ideally, how much should be in the bank statement I'm required to submit?

I think the $10,000 you're asked to provide is due to the third party account you're using. If it's your personal account, you'll need to provide exact amount you have as savings, and that would make your application simple. I'll suggest you start a new application and mention whatever savings you have, even if na ₦200,000 it'll be deducted from your total expense and Mpower will loan you the rest.

Many have requested extension and were granted.
You're better off starting the process and if not yet done before the deadline, request for extension. Some institutions are kind enough to give extra 30days
