Those praising Russian would know when world war 3 start. This is what US is trying to avoid but people are taken it for weakness.
Russian can never stand the US because the US when fighting war fight technically. Russian can talk as they like because talk is cheap. They thought within a week, they would have taken over Ukraine but months now, they're still fighting, that's how war is like.
You can't just predict what will happen. Aside having highest number of nuclear weapons, Russian can't stand the US military. Some facts to note.
It wasn't only the Lourdes base in Cuba that outlived the USSR, the Navy/Air force Base at Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam also outlived the USSR and was only shutdown by Putin in 2002.

As to Nicaragua, it recently ratified an agreement with effect from July 1, allowing Russia to place troops and equipment on its territory. So Russia will likely commence usage of Nicaragua's facilities before the year's end.
