Brexxit: You are so ignorant. Those products were produced from recycled metal. There are very extraordinary people in Nigeria not just Nnewi. There was this young man from plateau state, very talented and technically gifted who produces all sorts of machinery. My late uncle, an Eze Uzu, a great black smith could make a rifle from the scratch….from abandoned pieces of metal. A very brilliant mind….the environment he grew up in suppressed his talent. |

They are industrious, lets appreciate them, i like Igbo ingenuity. Igbo do wonderful things, and if Nigeria is not holding them back they can do much more. They inspire me. Instead of trying to bring others down, why not learn from them and even encourage them to do the best. Thank you for your ingenuity. 1 Like 1 Share |

They are been assembled not manufactured. Nigeria has no foundry technology and other related ones so we can't manufacture 98% of vehicle parts. But is still commendable |

jmoore: lol....Fabricating is different from manufacturing sir. Google Niji group. It is a Nigerian owned coy. They do a lot of machinery fabrication but they do not manufacture. Ukamaka should just up her game and stop looking like a roadside fabricator. |

This job aint easy. Same sh**t i was doing at Perth! The foundry was fucking hot. We were manuufacturing, hardening and tempering auto parts at high temperatures for Tesla and GMC motors. Grinding parts to perfection and using laser beam to check for defections. Ensuring male and female parts fit properly with the correct clearance Sometimes we stand working for close to 4hrs, only for one QAQC supervisor to show up and condemn like 20% of the job as trash then we recycle them. The cooling system and sanding is another problem. The robot arm on the production line and the conveyor always have sensor problem. Our pillar drills and CNC lathe machines always have adjustment issues, because the mumu Indian guy no even sabi how to set ordinary 3-jaw chuck Abegi Bleep mech job suffer too much despite the money. But 9ja need am o 1 Like |

Mickeybook: the cost of producing an item in nigeria is way higher than producing same item in CHina, factors like, electricity, Insecurity, bad roads, poor economic planning etc. due to these most of these companies struggle to make profit its cheaper to import and sell than to manufacture in Nigeria and sell that is why the prices are the same. Surprisingly, you make more money when you import and sell than buying in Nigeria. so its not greed per say, its struggling to stay afloat. |

Kingozymandias: And that Lunatic Joe Igbokwe who hailed from the renowned industrial city of Nnewi said if not for Lagos he would have become a native doctor chasing Lizards in Aba…and I just wonder what would make someones father talk about his tribe in such manner if actually all is right with his sense of reasoning. Yoruba elders who he is trying to please and Hausa elders can not make ill statement of such manner about their tribes and the fool think this people are not taking not of his speeches against his tribesmen until they finished using him and dump him someday. No doubt Igbos are Industrious…Igbos at this time are not suppose to even be in competition with other tribes based on what befall them through the civil war yet today when you look through the Igbo states in the east it seems like nothing ever happened they tend to compete head to head on individual wealth and other things. |
