It's fine he/she will just need to pay on the biometric date to upload all the documents ✌️✌️

Getting UK visit visa is easy if you’re truthful. There’re somethings that will give you a higher probability of having your visa approved. They mostly consider your personal circumstance, immigration history and home ties. Firstly, have a job that pays at least 300k and above. At this critical period, it’s good to have a fairly good travel history (US, Canada, Europe, UAE, Asia or the oceanic zone). Two good countries from the above will suffice as a good history. Being married is an advantage & having a good bank account. What I mean by good bank acc is making your account statement mathematically correct, such that your income for a particular period will equal the total credit in your account over the same period. Keep at least 70% of your monthly income in your account (as disposable income). Make sure your proposed spending for the trip is not more than 3 months disposable income. Also, be clear about your intentions for the visit visa.
Most importantly, you should back all these claims with documents that can be validated. Consider the Eco assessing your application a novice (he/ she knows nothing about you).
Caveat - the opinion expressed here is a personal one and may not apply to everyone. You have to do your due diligence & my opinion here can guide.

Please I want to know if it's 300k salary before tax/deductions or after. Any chance for singles in late 30s

What type of service did he select at TLS? Because for self-service, statement should be uploaded online before the interview.

I am not so sure though. Wait for others' opinions...

You can upload their birth certificate. But make sure to also explain why in your cover letter as well as visa application form.
It shows stronger ties to Nigeria as you wouldn't run away and abandon them.

grin But the ECO don't know what is goin on

Exactly, if it's self service he must upload bank statement before he goes for biometrics. But if he/she has already submitted on TLS contact by mistake. Let him/her go to the biometrics venue with his 42k, pere!

Assisted service i.e upload will be done by TLS for you costs only #11,600

Hello gurus in the house,
I am thinking of going to Ikeja center tomorrow to see if they can book an appointment for me but my question is will the appointment be self service or assisted?

Because I have started self service, but hooked at the appointment booking and can I print my checklist if given a date manually please?

They will not give you date manually but send a mail to me

It depends on the option he choose . If he choose self service he will need to upload all documents online before going to biometric.
If he choose assistant services he will go with all his documents to TLS on his biometric day and pay to upload them.
If he mistakenly didn’t not upload online on self service option he can do that at TLS with a fee

I have checked your previous post.. pls do not apply for the wrong visa type. You are not applying for spouse visa as your partner does not have settled status and neither are they a British citizen.
U are to apply for tier 2 partner dependent. They are not the same. Pls research before making any mistakes as there would be no refund.

Yes!! Our projection was right. Seriously, you gave me hope with your post. I’m basking in euphoria over this little update. It’s like I’ve never been to the UK before. I think it’s more about the little ones looking forward to summer holidays plus the money paid for 5 years visa x 2 & that of the kids as well. I will give an update when collection mail drops. Ours is family of 5. We already got one rejection last week. That rejection was for my adopted child. It’s been difficult changing her last name to mine. I will still share more about her situation maybe I can get a good advise here. I want to reapply for her using priority service. For now, I will take a chill pill until I pick up.
how far,have u pick up?

Hi,
I think you are good to go.
However, if hubby has some huge inflows and all, he might need to explain those unusual transactions. But if it’s his salary, then he should be able to support the application with letter of employment that states his income and all. (I am saying this cos it feels the salary isn’t constant 1.5, then other amount other times)
They would want to know if the money is really his savings or business purpose. The visa officers don’t like to mix business with pleasure.
