Lol. She was your best Midfielder on the day. The only MF who tried to make things happen. She even dropped deep several times to try advance our plays. And to crown it all... she scored. Right place, right time.

That you didn't see that is not my problem.

We should all understand that Oshoala will be be marked out by number of players, is expected, every opponent will arrive to neutralize Oshoala, so the technical bench should actually work this to Super Falcons' advantage, as if three are marking Oshoala, then that creates space for likes of Onumonu to do the punishing. Something similar to what Banyana does when opponents choose to close in on Kgatlana, as that now makes room for the Seoposonwes and the Magaias to do the punishing.

Onyinyechi had fantastic game and your Ogbonna gave away a reckless penalty
TheSuperNerd:

Not if that keeper is Onyinyechi Zogg's twin. I recall how some defended Zogg despite her obvious errors in a friendly one time (literally asking me to go soft on her) but spared no words for Glory Ogbonna who also made her own errors. Omo, I couldn't stand the hypocrisy in here that day.

So you see... if the GK is Zogg-like, another blame option will likely be found backed by "irrelevant" elaborate and sesquipedalianic-like explanations. grin

Some of these people... hmmmm... I don sabi them. It's well. For me, it's about the team first abeg.

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:34pm On Jul 05, 2022
That is exactly what they should do instead of trying to find Oshoala with every ball they should create for other also which will give her space to play her game.

Ajibade is our only midfielder that wasn't jittery with the ball on her feet

Here is one of them from that same day. grin

One of the Disgusting hypocrites. grin

And Ogbonna is not mine. I have no favorites in this team abeg. I just call out the hypocrisy in most of y'all

And stop lying. Zogg wasn't fantastic in that game she made her errors. Stop switching things man. Lol

See them... how it pains them so much. Hahahahahaa

Toni Payne played better than ajibade

ajibade was bullied throughout that match

she couldn't even make a decent cross into the box

Meanwhile how Oluehi escaped a card or being sent off for "that foul" on Kgatlana must be some lenient gift from the referee.

Amazing how I can say that I had little to no complaints about the ref from yesterday's game.

Oluehi is a very decent goalkeeper but I just personally feel much more assured with Chiamaka Nnadozie in goal. Thanks goodness she returns for the next game.

Oluehi played amateurishly yesterday... she was just rushing out of her line and had communication problem with Ebi at some point...
She was lucky not to be sent off..

Payne also had a good game but she faded with time. Ajibade was just better and kicking strong till the final mins. She was the one reason we had any sort of smooth presence in the middle.

You lots shouting crosses... who even delivered an inch perfect cross in that game that got us a big chance? Who pls.

Ajibade played well yesterday but she overhit her through balls more than 3 or 4 times and her crosses was just so...awful grin
But on the positive side, she is a great ball carrier. If 2 out of her overhit passes was on point yesterday, we'd have created something.

Lol... I have been made to understand the reason why she wasn't sent off was bcoz that particular incident was already called offside against Kgatlana. Had to even go view the replay from the 80th min coz I know it happened around that time period and confirmed what was said.

I missed that momentary phase of play live coz I was still at work yet still trying to view the game.

But yes, Oluehi didn't cover herself in glory for the most parts. She was jittery.

I can't believe a time will come when I'll be wary of the super falcons playing an African team that's not Cameroon,Ghana or South Africa, but we have to be careful of Botswana... They are fast just like the South Africans...
If Waldrum likes,he should start Chikwelu on Thursday... Body go tell am...

So you telling me that we scored directly from a corner kick assist? Oh wow grin
I really must have missed that. Show me pls grin Did we score again after making it 2-1 from an Onome Ebi assist ? Show me abeg.

This dude abi na sister is trying to credit Onome's assist to Alozie.... Chisos!!! Alozie's ball that was initially partially touched off before it fell kindly to Onome who made the most of it to create that goal. The desperation to ass-lick this girl is real. Lol

Focus God dammit!!!

Nope. This is not praise at all. This is a deliberately pathetic attempt to discredit Onome Ebi's industry and efforts in creating that goal all by herself.

I asked a simple question and I wonder at all if you understood. Which cross led directly to a big chance at goal?

Who delivered an inch perfect cross that any of our forwards directly connected to at goal?

Tu comprends? Ajibade scored. Will I say otherwise? Ajibade was our best MF yesterday. Is that false? Pure facts. So how is mine asslicking compared to you who is pathetically manufacturing stuffs to talk up Alozie with respect to the goal?

Damn... you lots need to stop this truly. It is pathetic. Focus on the team and not your faves. Very superficial and biased takes I see from some of you.... as in eh...

Onyinyechi made mistakes too and one even cost us a goal just like Ogbonna did. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not a fan of either in the way they play.

Finish it..

"...who even delivered an inch perfect cross in that game that got us a big chance? Who pls."

And by that I ask which cross connected to a player who then struck at goal directly from the cross..

That is what was asked. And what do you do? You mention Alozie whose cross got deflected away. Onome pounced on the loose ball and practically created a big chance all by herself.

So you flunked the question. Try again. There's still time.

If alozie had wasted that corner that match would have ended 2 nil

so saying that cross isn't perfect is pathetic

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 9:15pm On Jul 05, 2022
Statistically speaking, it would be counted as an unsuccessful cross attempt. About 3-4 players went for that ball and it got deflected. I hope you know this. Lol

We are lucky Onome was there to pick up the pieces to create the goal we scored. Credits to who it is really due abeg.

Stop this already. It's pathetic.

Well, okay... I trust by now, you can see I am somewhat in agreement.

Despite her lack of pace, she definitely was top 3 yesterday in my books on the overall. She, Plumptre and Ajibade for me.

She didn't look like she has lost anything IMO. My top 3 would be,
1. Ebi
2. Payne
3. Ajibade

Of course the cross wasn't perfect. Onome had to win a 50/50 to even get the ball. She definitely didn't waste it but it definitely could have been much better.

That Payne gets a mention in yours shows we all agree she had a good game.
If I extended things to a top 5, next after my top 3 would be Payne and Alozie in no particular order.

Ajibade didn't overhit her through balls the player she was passing to didn't have the pace to get to the ball or just stopped running to get the through balls.

Her crossing was terrible she should stick to passing the ball into the box instead of crossing into the box.

If any of onome ebi, oluehi, ohale , chikwelu and oshoala start against Botswana then Botswana will beat the Falcons thoroughly.

From the game against South Africa it's obvious Super Falcons have no right quality to punish any defence at this WAFCON.
