Old Tinubu worked harder, traveled all over the country meeting people day after day even after the primaries and he's still on the road while the so called young candidates sat on their lazy assess expecting candidates on a platter of gold. He was in Ekiti campaigning while Atiku camped in Dubai enjoying the good life

Obvious, the man is not lazy and he works harder than the other candidates combined.

Jona was younger, but he remains the most useless and horrible president in the history of Nigeria so of what relevance is your age fixation? Abi all your young governors and leaders don turn the SE or SS into Dubai?

Goodluck is the worst and your Buhari is the best.

Flooding happens even in the most developed and advanced societies.

Sad that at your age you are still not up to per..

I see that you sidestepped the rotten and sewage flooding with disease that you live with comfortably and happily like rotten pigs.

This is your own life and way of life

The joke is on you

So because flooding is a natural occurrance we should fold our hands and watch it ravage our homes.

Sense is very far from you.

Mumu keep quiet and stop vomiting thrash.

Why does civil servants retire from public service at the age of 65?

Why does NYSC exempt prospective corp members of 30years and above?

Why does employers consider age during recruitment exercise.

Anambra is a high producing manufacturing state,a super commerce state, they have ports that can be developed to enable the movement of goods, what evolution did he bring to the transportation systems in Anambra state?you all should stop hyping averageness,he did nothing extraordinary when he was governor so what makes you all think that he will do better when he becomes president?

And the other 2 candidates nko?

My POV is not a strictly political argument. I'm coming from the medical perspective and would wish to be engaged by a medic so we would go into deeper depths.

Back to your assertions. To say that Jonathan is the worst president we've had is strongly arguable. I hope you know someone else would come up and tell you Buhari is the worst. See, assessments in politics, most times, are based on personal interests.

I know there are medical doctors that support Tinubu's candidacy. I know there are doctors that supported Buhari. Heck, many of these docs are my chiefs... Some are professors and gods of medicine. But I also know these people are acting out of personal gains, tribalism, or something else. The medicine they taught us tells us otherwise.

Also note that while Tinubu is "working hard," Peter Obi too seems to be working hard. The man is always on the road. He toured more states than Tinubu. So we can't just generalize that it's only Tinubu that's working hard.

I had said earlier that this age discussion is truer in the old. This can be proven scientifically. I understand there are other dynamics that determine if a leader would be successful. So, the fact that someone is young does not confirm he'd be a successful leader.

Thank you.

1. Jonathan earned N51 trillion from oil, largest wealth accumulation in the history of Nigeria, but he did not build any bridge, no road, no hospital, no electricity, no refinery, nothing, all he did was supervising looting and stealing.

2. Jonathan declared austerity masseurs in 2014 when the price of oil was still high and by the time he left office, he was borrowing hundreds of billions to pay workers salaries

3. By his last day in office, nearly all the states were bankrupt with not money to function or pay salaries, Nigeria was ready to implode, but thank God for Buhari salary bail out, this is the reason why your state did not go under.

Now, if you are going to defend Jonathan, you should start by listing his achievements.

Considering the poor state of things and the bad governance we've been experiencing over the years, common sense should make us know and choose the right person for the job.

Tinubu is fvckin old and infirm, i wonder how he's going to look like in the course of the next eight years. He has already made his mark, it's time for him to relax and rest in his twilight years.

The person for the job should be vibrant, young and frugal, with a good track record. Someone that's free from corrupt practices.

It shouldn't be about choice anymore. Let's just come out en masse to get the right person for the job.

Nigerians are always very foolish with their choices because of their poor mindset. They know the right person but tribalism wouldn't let them do the right thing.

Sadly, you seem to have missed the point of my submissions. This is not a Jonathan-Buhari argument.

My submission is rather an attack on the Nigerian medical and legal communities. Our legislators should impose laws making medical scrutiny a compulsory step to power. This law may already be there but is it functional? If it were, our current president and Tinubu wouldn't have approached power.

My point is an argument that age, especially old age, is a strong determinant of the success of a leader. My point is that, as we age, neurodegenerative changes occur and this jeopardizes our functions. My point is that our country deserves a young, well-oriented leader. I don't care where this person comes from. If he's strong enough for the job, if he's got a good record, if he has the potentials, we all should vote for him.

To start with, we are not medical doctors and to my knowledge we haven't medicaly examined any of the candidates including Tinubu, people are entitled to their opinion, but not to credible and scientific facts.

Many young folks sadly will die today because of all manner of illnesses and medical conditions, but not old Tinubu because he's still alive.

You and I are young and walking up and down and looking healthier than Tinubu, but we could be nursing serious medical conditions that people can not see, conditions that could kill us tomorrow, God forbid.

I'd be very foolish and ignorant to speak on other people's physical health without any kind of broad knowledge from exams medical tests, mental evaluation, blood work, cognition and other critical factors.

Unfortunately, such intrusive medical requirements and legislation won't work, it's discriminatory and unconstitutional.

Being young doesn't guarantee success and beign old doesn't mean failure.

There are a lot of failed young leaders in Nigeria as we speak so of what relevance is age?

Well, there's some truth in what you've written. But not entirely.

There are some pathognomonic features that are strong pointers to some conditions. There are things you see in a patient that are so indicative that you can commence treatment without a test. This is especially true in our environment where patients can't afford some of these tests.

Tremors, thought blocking, old age. These three, anywhere in the world, are strong pointers. It's in only a small fraction of the population that may turn out to be something else, or ?benign.

If you screen an old man and you find out he has dementia/Alzheimer's/Parkinson's, CKD, with a background congestive heart failure, I'm sure even the devil wouldn't recommend him to be voted for. I'm sure you wouldn't want to vote in a young candidate with severe medical conditions.

This is in no way discriminatory. Worldwide, standard organizations do medical screening. I've seen hundreds of people come to the hospital for medical reports stating they are healthy.

You see?
