Greetings@Duchess, please help attend to this my query. On my marriage certificate, the middle name of my wife is different from the one on her international passport. Is this fatal to our application? What option do we have please?

Hello

You can go ahead to fill the visa application but can't go past the declaration section or pay for visa fees and IHS, that will lock your application and you can't make the changes you need

If you do so and still intend to change your passport you will have to cancel the application and start again with the new passport.

Hope it helps

Cheers

Thanks so much.

Hello

This is medicine after death na

The question should have been asked before visa submission.
Anyway, the hope is that it isn't a concern to the ECO looking at your application

Cheers

I sincerely hope so sad

Hello everyone, please I need your help. My pof is due for 16th of this month , however my tuberculosis test is slated for 26th of this month. Please, anybody who has applied, do I attach my tuberculosis result to my uploaded supporting documents during application or can I take it and pay for them to upload it during biometrics?

I don't think I can wait till I complete the tuberculosis test before I start my visa application . This due to the current rush for biometrics date as I intend to use ikeja tls . Thank you

when previous refusals are from same UK? This is dangerous…
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 7 by duchess90(f): 9:29pm On Jul 09, 2022
Hello

How do you mean different please?

Would this be an error in spelling or a different name like Rose instead of Sarah?

With the first it should be fine as long as first and last name is same

With the second try to get an affidavit to say it is same person

Cheers

Hello

It is a risk, but doable

Did you see on this same thread few pages back where someone did same and now there are issues with her TB or so and has to wait additional 6weeks and cancel visa application.

Calculate your risk accordingly

Cheers

It’s for a family of 5

Do I have to pay individual visa fee and surcharge please?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 7 by duchess90(f): 9:37pm On Jul 09, 2022
Wow

That's alot

Visa fees will be forfeited but IHS refunded, but may take a bit of time

That will mean you will need to pay visa and IHS again for you and your family.

Hmmm, it's your call now

Cheers

i’ll give a backstory especially for those that like playing with fire.
Application- student dependent visa. The spouse was denied UK visa more than 15 years ago… no ban. only 1 refusal. And kept mum about it… maybe as per 15 years ago na.. I dont really know why.
went on and submitted visa application to the UK in 2022.
This is what they sent to him first…
He has refused to say what they have replied to him but I guess it is not favourable as he has dodged answering this.
The most basic … most basic basic to declare is your UK refusals.. if you cnt show integrity for that then anything they decide to do, is on you.
They might not go through the hassles of all the 196 countries but the most basic they will check is your immigration history with them the United Kingdom.
So why not choose to say the truth?

It's like this for example: Rose Abayomi AKINLAJA (Surname as her maiden name) on the marriage certificate but Rose Adenike OLAGUNJU (Surname mine) on her international passport since we are now married. She did change of name with affidavit and newspaper publication. The issue I'm trying to raise for clarification now is that instead of her to now answer Rose Abayomi OLAGUNJU, which reflects her first and middle name on marriage certificate, what she answers now is Rose Adenike OLAGUNJU and which is what is on her international passport. Like I said, the name on her international passport is what is on her change of name through affidavit and newspaper publication. I hope this my analogy is explanatory please?

Hello

Please don't fall for scammers

There's nothing extra they do except refreshing and checking at different times which you can also do

You don't want to give out sensitive information regarding your visa application because you want someone to get you a date

Whatever happens, it is your risk to take

Cheers

Thanks so much

even if they denied you 25 times.. and they ask you.. say 25.. avoid uncertainty with 10 year ban.. not 23 or 24… you know its twice as the 1st was denied so you applied a second time.. how then telling them 1ce? I am so scared because it’s from same country and you have done biometrics.

My fear too but I will have to withdraw my application as suggested by someone because it’s for a family of 5

hmm Or is it possible to try that email that usually sends NSF.. sheffield something something.. search for it on this thread.. perhaps quote your application details in the subject heading and apologise profusely that you only noticed now that your form says 1 instead of 2 .. that it was an error or something.. find one reason.. goodluck
Or u just outrightly withdraw and reapply.. or pray for understanding heart lipsrsealed
If anyone has faced this for incomplete declaration of UK refusal, your attention is needed

Hello everyone. I'm really in need of an advice for a friend. He got married in 2017 (Traditional and Church) but did his Registry marriage in April this year. He is about applying for visa using his wife a a dependent, Now the dilemma is:
1. Should he claim all three marriages? and which date of marriage will he use, 2017 or 2022
2. Should he just use the date of registry marriage April 2022? The worry is that UKVI might query that it was rushed because of the visa application
3. Or just go ahead with the Church (though not registered with interior ministry or marriage registry)

Of course they had a kid within that period too.
Your kind suggestions and/or logic will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How about someone that was given a scholarship (and has already paid the £3k advanced payment)? How can they go about paying the remainder of their tution with Form A without an invoice stating the remainder of the tuition?

PS. I intend to send NTU a message on Monday requesting for an invoice that highlights this. I genuinely hope they send me one, but if they don't, I want to have an idea of what I can use as evidence instead.

She should prepare for a possible NSF requesting for the documents she missed, hopefully not a refusal

Hello

He should put his date of marriage 2017 (provide both church and court certificates)

In addition information or add a letter stating that the church marriage was done first and then the court later.

The most important thing is the proof of relationship since 2017 (wedding and family pictures, chats, emails ,text, bills paid together, investment made, holiday trips etc)

Cheers
