Idiko1: ![]() Comprehension is really your problem.. nothing else. The fact that you're the only one on this tribal table should tell you something. |

daveP:Glory Ogbonna didn’t do well when she Came in for N Payne, Though N Payne didn’t venture forward much maybe because she was instructed to.. Tony Payne is for sure one of Randy first pick whenever he needs to name his Superfalcon first 11… A Onguene and N Ajara Vs M Alozie and T Payne is going to be interesting… Ohale will be the one to mark the Physical M Abam who’s Alozie team mate at Houston Dash… But I see Randy Playing a Backline of 3 CM with Payne and Alozie at Wing Back.. |

UPDATE FROM BANYANA CAMP From injury blow- to-Covid-19: Banyana Banyana reported that they might be without some players following positive Covid-19 cases in their camp. |

Deltamani:I was even thinking a back 3 would be better against Cameroon..Given the fact that Alozie and Payne are natural wingers, playing as wing backs will give them more freedom to bomb forward... But the question is who plays LCB? Plumptree or Ebi? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 5:13pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
mostob:To be Frank I don't trust her one on one defending against fast skillful wingers. Ivory Coast vs Nigeria is a prime example. Gabrielle Onguene is probably the best winger left in the competition. Monday was on the right during the Aisha Buhari Cup and she did really well. |

Deltamani:What did Glory Ogbonna do wrong? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 5:36pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
I think we are overthinking this Cameroon match really. I am more concerned about how Cameroon will do defensively than the "danger" they muster offensively. They are not as lethal as we think upfront, they could only score 3 goals in the group stage while conceding only one. If we can get our attack right, they'll be dealt with. |

femianski:It doesn't matter, Tunisia nor sabi anything. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 6:37pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Allrrriiiiggghhhtttt ![]() I have the same reservation about Alozie too....I just thought there is no capable replacement. Nicole has bot really been playing much for us. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 6:40pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
GeneralDae:Yea... South Africa should be able to finish the job. I still think the covid talk is an hoax.... Maybe a tactic from them. Hopefully Botswana should be able to match Morocco. I don't want us to play them yet. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 6:44pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
lovewins:I'm more worried about their physical tactic..they are too rough. Make Dem no go break leg |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 7:02pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
mostob:Let's give the girls some credit, they are though too. Come on we played Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana when we couldn't string 3 passes together and we won. Save Ashleigh, every other player on the team can hold their own. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Danielnino00(m): 7:12pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
mostob:Morocco will still use wuruwuru to scale through... I don't trust those north Africans.. They are already bringing their laser tag nonsense to the stadium! Imagine using lasers against women!! Bullsh*t!! |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 8:31pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
mostob:Lol @ allrrrrrighht Nicole started 2 matches against Canada. She is definitely a capable replacement. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 8:42pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
mostob:Other the Summer series when she was nutmegged twice, I can't recall seeing her get dribbled past. Secondly, she and Ebi both have the best sliding tackles in the team. Yes, you might say she overlaps, but remember that she is not a full back but rather a wing back who must contribute to attack. Her crosses too are accurate and she takes good shots. Naturally she should playing as a winger but we have too many wingers and few formidable full backs. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 8:56pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
JohnBullMySon:Exactly!!! Alozie is far from being a problem, she's everyway an asset especially if the coach is smart enough to know who to play her with. She was terrible at the back initially when she got that role, but she has since significantly improved defensively. The coach only needs to play someone who can cover for her, especially when she makes her offensive runs. So far though she hasn't been beaten on a one on one situation and that's something worth noting. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 9:02pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:To me Nicole Payne is a better fullback than Glory, I believe when she start playing pro she would get better and better..! |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 9:04pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
Danielnino00: That’s not even a question.. Ohale—— Ebi—— Plumptre |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 9:06pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Alozie has improved a lot, she will definitely hold her ground against any Winger she faces. I haven’t seen any of our opponents winger or forwards beat her in a 1V1 situation of recent.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 9:23pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
lovewins:Exactly. Chiwendu Alozie is the Falcon equivalent of Calvin Bassey in the Eagles. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 9:28pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
Deltamani:Improvements like that don't happen overnight. Especially when u don't play the position at your club. South Africa didn't use the wings as much as Cameroon does so this is completely different. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 9:28pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
Danielnino00:Exactly why I said I don't want us to play them yet. North Africa are notable for all those wuruwuru tactics. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 9:30pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
Deltamani:That has nothing to do with u saying she didn't do good na. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by JohnBullMySon: 9:32pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
Deltamani:Swap Plumptre and Ohale. Plumptre is a defensive playmaker herself. She cannot be the one to cover Alozie. That's a disaster. |

Germany vs Spain 2-0 Two shots by Germany all through the game, and they were goals. That sounds like some pages from the Men's team under Loew ![]() I wish we can be that clinical. At least by half. No tension, no overdo, just waiting for the right moment but contributing to passing the back around and winning it back asap. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 9:59pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
Deltamani:I think Ogbonna can still balance it, but we know who the better one is, especially with contribution to attack. I'd like to see her against a worthy opponent to know how composed she can be. That's if Randy wants to give her that chance. Ohale will come tops if it comes to Abam. That one is no match for Ohale. To ve truthful, they're the ones with jitters. But their only threat to our players are those rough tackles. I can comfortably predict a red for them |

femianski:Chai. Village people follow this team ni? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:00pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
JohnBullMySon:The Ivorycoast striker also dribbled her successfully though in the second leg. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by GeneralDae: 10:01pm On Jul 12, 2022 |
daveP:That Tunisian team is useless as fvck, they can't even trap the ball, so I don't think the South African team has anything to fear. |

GeneralDae:Truth though. Dlamini is good too. But if na Motlhalo, wahala go dey for that middle o. Refiloe Jane can't do it all. |

JohnBullMySon:What I'm seeing there is Ohale at RCB Onome Ebi CB Plumptre LCB |

I’ve watched snippets of the Euros, and I must say the Super Falcons have some way to go before being a genuine threat at the WC.. The confidence in possession and accuracy of most of the passes is something that is still a struggle for the SF |
