WAFCON 2022: “We Are Ready For Nigeria With Positive Vibes” – Reynald Pedros Ahead of the semi-final clash between Morocco and Nigeria at the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, the Coach of the Atlas Lionesses, Reynald Pedros has said that his team is well prepared for the encounter. Reacting to questions from journalists at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium conference room, the former Olympique Lyonnais Féminin coach said his team have a full understanding of their opponents and is prepared with positive vibes to ensure their progress into their first final. “We are preparing the same way we prepared for the quarter-finals and other Matches with commitment and trying our best.” “We don’t have negative pressure on our team and the training, we haven’t changed anything. Ennyjay69: Nawa ooooo This comment is just an excellent Bullshit… The major reason we lost to South Africa was Randy Waldrum poor Selection which was is major problem coming into the tournament… He’s currently getting things right gradually with his Selections… So you think is easy with the Caliber of Players we have ahbi?? I can also tell you if not for Oshoala injury Okobi would still be coming from the Bench and Ajibade Would have been playing Midfield.. if Esther Okoronkwo and Desire Oparanozie was in the team with that lose to SA he would still have got some tough decisions to make… Give the Superfalcons the Credit they deserve… Thank You! |

Deltamani: this is not only about giving the Falcons the credit they deserve... Oshoala , Desire Oparanozie and Esther Okoronkwo should seat on the bench when they are fit, Infact Oparanozie days in the SF are done... the SF first team should be the ones currently playing in this AFCON... replacements should be gotten for Chikwelu, Ebi, Ohale and anyone over 30 years old.. I won't fully judge Oshoala until I watch playing in a Super Falcons that doesn't have Chikwelu in midfield and Ohale in defense... because Ohale was just kicking long balls to Oshoala and abandoned the midfield and Chikwelu couldn't control the midfield.. 3 Likes |

How did you even arrive at that conclusion? They haven't comfortably won any of the games they have played so far... With the way Morocco have been playing, that you love very much why have they not been blowing teams away ? isan: tactics that wasn't working... so if the tactic had worked that means that's what SF would have continued playing.. the good thing about it is that she clears the ball but most times the opponents get the ball back... Oshoala thrives on through passes not long balls... infact most of the SF forward players thrive on through passes, so the midfield has to work on short passes and through passes.. |

Morocco coach may have something he can work against us. The long balls. A high line may be his best bet for this but e go shock am say our wingers would break it. Next, Isolation of Onumonu in the heat of attack. If he plans for this, then they may win in facing her. Funny thing is there are others that they can't stop, especially that wack Morocco defence. Her pace will work to their advantage. Just that when Ify is not attacking, she is setting up attack. His wingers..... If he wants to use his normal play, the one-two and short passes behind Ucheibe, I'd love to see what that looks like. It's their own true advantage against us in my opinion. Their wingers have some great crosses in their legs. Our advantage is ensuring that Chebbak does not have a breather. Either with shots at our goal or control, just like Mothlalo and Refiloe did in our first match. Take out Cheebak and the midfield is fulllly ours. Then their overconfident Dribbler, Mouady Abi what's her name... Someone need be detailed to that girl. I know Ebi may have experience, but one on one, i can't say who will get upper hand. Not putting high hopes on any of the two. Uchenna will easily have a field day. We need a joker. They may be out to get rid of Ajibade. They can try but we need to avoid that thing that once our star player is out, everywhere becomes tense and disoriented. The vs Cameroun Formation will work for me. But Alozie returns to lineup. Then, psychologically,they are scared. Not one team have confidence facing us on a norms. Not yet. That's a big advantage. Thank God naija fans are increasing in numbers in the stadium too. Ginger is needed. Verdict: #Going for 10. LaDecima, OdiMewa!! |
