Your statement is not realistic, Muslims are not more than Christians; is better you put it at 50:50. Even America research shows Christians are a bit more than Muslims in Nigeria. There are states in the north that are predominantly Christian states; Christians are many in the north than numbers of Muslims you can find in the south outside south west.

Muslims in the south south and south east are insignificant compare to numbers of christians in the north. It is true that Muslims marry multiple wives and give birth to plenty children, but the the truth is that they breed poverty. Majority of children and wives they give birth to and marry are later faced with poverty or family problems that later make them end up as Christian converts. Problem drives many of them into christianity while some renounce Islam and become traditionalists or atheists.

Many of them also end up being killed as terrorist volunteers or bandits. Do you know majority of children fighting for Boko Haram, ISWAP and ISIS in Nigeria are underage that are unfortunately born to wrong muslim families. Poverty make many of them to join banditry, some are eventually killed while some are imprisoned and later get converted to Christianity in the prison yards. At the end of the day, giving birth to multiple wives under poverty don't really help Muslims because majority of them will not continue with Islam when they grow up to understand Islamic cruelty to them.

Majority of those you call Muslims in the north are not because even majority of christians dress like Muslims and even using hijab, but if you approach them, you will find out they are Christians. In all South west states, generally Christians are more than muslims because there are states that are Christian majority like Ondo and Ekiti states while in other states like Oyo, Osun, Ogun and Lagos; Muslims and Christians are equally distributed. Some towns in Oyo state and Osun state are Muslim dominated like Ede, Iwo while some towns like ilesha, Ife are Christian dominated all from Osun state.

However, if kwara and kogi yorubas are added to equation, kwara is Muslim dominated while kogi yorubas (okun) are Christian dominated identified with Ekiti. In general, Christians are slightly higher than Muslims in South west (in my own assumption between christians and muslims only not including traditionalists, atheists and non-religionists, don't take my word for it) in the ratio 48% Muslims and 52% christians

A video showing the moment the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke, prostrated for Adedeji Adeleke, father of Nigerian singer, Davido after the Independent National Electoral Commission declared him winner of the Osun governorship election has surfaced on social media.
Recall, the Returning Officer for the election and Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, announced that Adeleke got a total of 403,371 votes, beating the incumbent, Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, who got 375,027 votes in a keenly contested race.
He said, “I declare Adeleke Ademola Jackson Nurudeen, on behalf of the chairman of INEC, of the PDP, having satisfied the requirement of the law, is hereby declared the winner and he is returned elected.”
According to the total votes recorded by the electoral umpire, the PDP won 17 of the 30 Local Government Areas of the state, while the APC won the remaining 13.

The PDP won in Ede North, Ede South, Ifelodun, Boluwaduro, Egbedore, Odo Otin, Osogbo, Ila, Atakumosa West, Olorunda, Ilesa West, Obokun, Oriade, Orolu, Ife North, Irepodun, and Ejigbo LGAs.
Reacting to the announcement, Ademola in excitement immediately went down on the floor, prostrating to his brother.
