Nigerians Ask INEC Nigeria To Include Candidates' Photos In Ballot Paper

Adding his voice, a Catholic Priest, Fr Kelvin Ugwu wrote, “Dear INEC Nigeria,
Our ballot paper should be like this because in the true sense of it, it is actually the individual with his vice that we are voting for. All the elections conducted in Nigeria in the past, the ballot paper just carried only party logos. But it is not the party we vote that leads us after the elections but the individual. Almost all the countries in Africa has both the face, the name of the candidate, his/her running mate, and the party logo on their ballot papers. Please do this for Nigerians.”

Nice proposition, i fully support it, this will avoid any confusion during voting.

Nigerians need to see Mr Obi's visage while voting.

Good one. They should also reduce the length of the ballot paper by eliminating some obviously unserious contestants. The serious contestants are not more that 5 at most.
Idea of ballot paper looking like long roll of toilet paper is not good at all.

1, Supported.
2, INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ALLOWED UP TO THE LAST MONTH OF POLLING AND VOTING.
3, THE ARRANGEMENTS OF THE PICTURES SHOULD BE THE LEAST FAMOUS PARTY FIRST DOWN TO THE MOST FAMOUS.

THE ELECTORATES IS SOVEREIGN. THE NIGERIAN ELECTORATES HAVE THE FINAL SAY ON THE 2023 ELECTIONS. YOU CANNOT LIMIT THE CHOICE AND THE TIME OF THE ELECTORATES TO DEPUTIZE THEIR REPRESENTATIVES.
AND SO FOR 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS, NIGERIAN ELECTORATES VALUE "Osinbajo/VO EZUGWU OF IGBO ETITI ANAMBRA STATE AS THEIR INDEPENDENT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES.
THE NATIONAL CONSCIENCE OF NIGERIA MUST INTERVENE NOW.
LET US STOP POSTPONING OUR DOOMSDAY.

Very good one

Emergine if INEC has been doing these since 1999, people like Atiku picture would have been in almost all the ballot paper.

Atiku picture would have been a Parmanent customer to the ballot paper, even when he didn't win the primaries INEC will still mistakenly put his pics cos he is their customer
Re: Nigerians Ask INEC To Include Candidates' Photos On Ballot Papers by SmartPolician:
This will cost a lot of money.

INEC will tell you there's no legal provision for it. grin

However, it makes a lot of sense.

There is time given for replacement, right now as we speak no political party can replace it's candidate cause the time for replacement has passed
