You should be smart enough to know that there are things you don't help with in Nigeria. ATM or phone are amongst things you don't try looking for the owner . You may get into serious problem while doing that . We have so many security issues in Nigeria. The owner of such items could ve been robbed and killed. You will become the scapegoat. I don't know how old are you but some of you endomie kids should start using your head. If someone loses his ATM, there are ways if him getting it back or even blocking it ..what's your business with another person's card . I wish you good luck

I once found a card, I searched the name on the card on face book and found the card owner, we chatted and exchanged numbers o returned the card to him... I know it was the owner because we both sat at the same table at an event... So when o saw him on face book I knew it was him...

don’t return, I have seen 15 atm cards by the side of the road diff banks and names, picked them up, as I was going to the nearest bank to drop them off, Had to rethink oo, no advantage for me only disadvantagessss, had to go back to that spot and drop the cards.

While in school, I have actually picked up an ATM card. I looked up the name on Facebook. linked up with the person and gave her the card... you may want to use this approach or destroy it as others have suggested.

You made a valid point. That's why I always think twice, anytime I dealing with any of my countryman. Dem go just change am for you. As a matter of fact, some people are languishing in prison for their good deeds.....

Mail the guy you can help him return it to the bank. Think about the negativity that surrounded it.

I misplaced my Union Bank ATM card months back. I didn't know that I have misplaced it because I have the numbers written down in my phone and then I have the other card information off heart. How did I get to know that I have misplaced the card? I needed to make a transaction on Quickteller with it and I was told the card had been blocked. Turned out that whoever saw the card helped me to block it

take it to that bank, and if the bank cares about their customer they’ll get the number and address and give the customer a call. Your option should be a last resort.
