Hmmmmm It's like there's problem somewhere. Seems like most people who have this issue did bio in may. Decision made but no passport yet. While we pray, let's start tagging @ukinnigeria @UKVI on twitter. Let's make it trend.

i dont understand after sending a mail you get told a decision as been made
the next thing is to send peoples passport
taking days to get it

In all we do Patient is key.
None dragged any one to apply
Regardless of the kind of permit, Patient is important
Just as you have needs to meet so as others
Let's not forget your passport is your identity solely to you.
stop being too fast and distress during visa application processing. Ensure you raise the customer support service when escalated on your side and follow updates on the immigration website.
Pray if you like but try and be patient. There are more than 50,000 application every month to be processed.
Not only Nigeria have population other countries do.

This is the reason why our leaders take us for granted. Patience you say! For a service that was paid for? They hold my passport for over 10weeks and you're telling me patience. Is it only the UK I need my passport for? This is highly insensitive of you.

Young man get yourself together this message is to enlighten you on proceedings of a foreign entity on your land. Your leaders won't help you because you are in your home country(you could
Have applied from Mexico) and no one is after your life. If so please request for immediate release of your passport and tag your GWF ID number and then watch as you will receive it not coming here to disturb a thread that needs enlighten individual on how to go about their application procedures

Yea! you can draft a written cover note to pour out your embargo to the embassy holding your passport not to rally support here. I give you another scope.
Lucreza:
Hahahahaha! Enlighten yourself first.

Someone needs to be enlightened...Patient is Key pray if you like...

For people that did their biometrics in Apr/May, if a decision has been made on your application and you are yet to receive your passport, please go to twitter and tag @ukinnigeria @UKVI @CatrionaLaing1. While we wait and pray, let's use the resources at our disposal to press for a positive outcome. Also, continue sending complaints to UKVI on their gov.uK website.

Do we really need this? We are complaining of UK whereas our country is the worst in processing visa and passport. It takes forever to get Nigerian passport in Nigeria. Same thing if foreigners apply for Nigerian visa from abroad

If una like, make una carry placard go stand for British High Commission, they'll process your application and return your passport at their own pace. If you are not comfortable with it, withdraw your application, simple!

Hi guys, I have TLS appointment this coming Friday in VI

However, I’m applying through the visiting route, my brother in the UK would be sponsoring me fully, he has provided all relating documents like his residency permit , his bank statements and invitation letter

I just want to know what my chances are , although I don’t earn much here in Nigeria (100-150k) as I was also asked to provide my bank statement for funds accessible by me . It would be fully stated in the letter that my brother is sponsoring me .
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Magma012: 9:26am On Jul 24, 2022

Well your home ties would be a factor, thou u stated u are working so that will suffice, also if married it would be a knockout for ECO. You can file your statement with 300k and your monthly expenditure to 40k as single 70k as married, since your offshore sponsor got you covered. I would advise you go through this thread from beginning to learn more on documents he will provide. All the best in your quest

You guys have money for paid email despite say una go dey complain say money no dey 9ja.

Why can't you just be patient

You guys are just making the UK govt cash out more with this your paid emails. If your visa has not been overly prolonged like 2 months, I don't think you should bother plus they told you ahead of this Ukraine nonsense.

So continue wasting your money with paid email if you want. It does not affect anything. Also stop with the entitlement mentality cos you paid money for your visa.

June 6 Abuja, I am still waiting for the visit visa of my gf.

I did June

I think we all need to be patient.
Yes we paid for the service, but they have responded that request are high which is unusual and we all know the reason.
I understand that it is really causing anxiety to some people. Best thing is to await their feedback. Today makes it exactly 2months (since May 24) that my mum did biometrics and application is being considered, decision he not even been made.
She has valid US, Canadian and other countries visa and she has been in the UK within the last 10 years.
Yet she is experiencing this.
But what can we do, just be patient and be hopeful.
Thanks.

Nothing to worry about. Your wife and son have their visa based on your student status. Yours is on the way, just got caught up in the system. If your school resumption date is near, send them a paid email to remind them.

I wonder. Home office has clearly stated that they are giving priority to Ukraine visa applicants. So if you want to wait three months to travel date to apply, that is your problem. Factor this when applying and apply on time.

There is an option on TLC to keep your passport. If you have planned international travel within the next 6 months choose this option, when booking biometric appointment as there is no guarantee your passport will come out as expected.

You can use this same DS160 to fill the form, and search for US visa appointment in UK website. You must use UK address on your visa application and appointment.

Important note, do waste your money and time on the US visa application in UK, There is 99.999% of refusal chance for Nigeria student going to US for visa from UK on study permit. The VO knows your plan to move to US permanently as UK immigration plans do not favor African (Nigeria). Just find another means to go to US forget about the visitor style or conference style.

You may try your luck. not bad in trying my friend
