It is like this
Somebody let me say a Hausa man scores 390 in JAMB the highest in history Then several others score 379.378,377 etc and someone questions the whole exam but Hausa people get up and say is it because he is Hausa. The query is not just with the 390 but the unusual high scores in THE SAME exam. After investigation it is shown there was nothing wrong with the exam or marking.Fine!!

Does it mean those who questioned were wrong to question or that they did so because they hate Hausa?

What I saw was NOT JUST about Amusan

You can't compare academics to sports.

People who do well in academics are very consistent. So nobody will question a Hausa student getting 390 in JAMB because the student will also have high WAEC scores and be one of the top students in his/her school.

Tobi Amusan has been an elite athlete for years so her performance should not be questioned as long as the doping agencies haven't raised alarm and prevented her from competing.

Modified:
All of you people quoting me to say I'm playing the race card, I think you guys have self esteem issues. Has the world athletics organisation who organised the tournament come out to invalidate her record? So because a couple of British blokes spoke we should take it immediately as the truth because anything the British say becomes authority? Wake up and stop sucking up to the westerners! Stand and have some self worth. They won't be celebrating Amusan today if she was always playing second fiddle to her western opponents.
Maybe that is vecause the British and the Jamaicans have a history of smashing records. I bet if an Italian man smashed the records at the marathons even you will question such. And considering the fact that your country has a poor record of preparations it's logical to question the how. People dont wake up and become champions. That logic only makes sense in naija.

Michael Johnson is not a nonentity. He is a legend A man with 4 Olympic Gold medals and 8 World Championship Gold medals and several World records Gold medals cannot be called a nonentity
Who are YOU to call him a nonentity. Who knows you and what have you achieved?
Did you actually take time to study what he said?

MICHAEL JOHNSON IS A NONENTITY

I can say it over and over again, it wouldn't change the fact that he is a NONENTITY.

Michael Johnson is an American, and a former Olympic gold medalist. He is also black.

Also, another pundit (Colin Jackson, Welsh, and a black man too...) on the same BBC commended Amusan.

The problem is not with the win, it appears to be with the timing machines.

Get away there,,
most black Americans hates Africans more than the whites

aribisala0:
Nobody checked her shoes. Stop being a victim
Read and comprehend what actually happened. It did not happen the way you are depicting it .
They questioned the timings of most people in that race because several people ran a time they had never run before
Several. Not only Amusan. They were not questioning just Amusan but the times for several others too which is unusual for so many people to run a personal best in one race. They are journalists and they did their job

aribisala0:
If it is subtle that means it cannot be proved it is just your opinion which I respect but do not share. Michael Johnson is black most of the athletes were black Also the previous record holder is black
The times of other athletes were questioned as well not just Amusan's and most of them were black
This is an event that blacks dominate

This has nothing to do with the Whoopi Goldberg that is irrelevant

It has everything to do with Who:opi Gold:berg.

You're saying a black person cannot be racist to another black person .

and I'm telling you that since Whyte people ( j:ews ) considered another set of Whyte people ( g:ermans ) attack on them as racism.

then black people of a different ethnicity demeaning another set of black people is also racism.

Will you describe Russia invasion of Ukraine as racism

It was so annoying. Michael Johnson and the BBC crew were all stunned. From being skeptical of the timing, they doubted if Amusan would deliver in the finals…I don’t blame them though. Johnson said that Amusan would be under a lot of pressure, he said Amusan needed to repeat her semi finals performance and also win the race. They just couldn’t believe that she could do it…Well Amusan not only won the finals convincingly, she further lowered the time.
She shut them all up. That girl is as clean as can be. Let them leave her alone and not taint her samples. I’m sure they will store her biological samples very securely and test it periodically to find something.

We might be living in 21st century buh the whites still carry an iota of bias & subtle entitlement mentality that good things can only come from there side .... i trust Amusan is clean, whatever they are looking for shame awaits them

With the way this thing is going, these people might stop watching football the day Super Eagle of Nigeria would win World Cup.

One thing that will help put this to rest is the commonwealth games that starts in a few days in Birmingham England.

If she prepare well, she will smash the time as well. I believe she will do that. We will witness another record smash.

I get your point bros but the truth remains that she won and smashed the record in front of the world's eye. Anybody with a theory of suspicion as regarding her win has to channel it through the appropriate means which is the World athletics organisation and allow them carry out their own investigation and reveal the findings. But coming online or as a pundit to say she won controversially reeks of envy and bad losers mentality. That's simply the way it looks

Michael Johnson is a nonentity that says things to cause controversy just to be in the spotlight, the fool misses his glory days, so he will say anything to be seen as relevant.

And yes it hurts our feelings because if it was their own people that won, they would not cast aspersions on the rare feat, imagine them complaining about her shoes, grasping on straws to taint her, black fools.

Ur coming from a hurt position or sentimental like a typical Nigerian.

In athletics which I did up till university there is wind aided for long jump and track and they get to subtract the wind aided from the final time.

She still got the money awarded to her and I’m sure she will still lower the time if she keeps up.

Micheal Johnson is a former 200m and 400m Olympian and 200m world record holder.

10m is an outright payment.

If someone pay in 6 months, is still refers to as an outright meanwhile longer than 6months payments attract more payments.

Also, there are other Estates with lesser amount.

In all, the terms and conditions are well spelt out.

In essence racism is in the mind not the skin. It is also inherent in all humans whether black, white, yellow or brown. It is mostly amplified from position of weakness. Wait till the Chinese or Arabs dominate the world, you will know the white folks have been angels.
