Good morning guys. How are we?

Please o, someone woke me up this morning that the fan of my Honda CR-V was working. By the time I got in, I noticed the radio lights and co were on, I tried starting the car but the battery had run down. However, immediately I put off the ignition, it stopped.

I’ve not driven the car in the a few days now cos the sump is leaking.

What could be happening pls?

So you’re saying that without the keys in the ignition your cooling fans and radio were on? We’re any other things on too like your instrument cluster, door vanity lights etc?

And after you came and inserted your ignition key and tried starting it and it didn’t start you then switched the ignition off and everything went off and back to normal? Is this what happened?

If it is then I think you need an auto electrician to look at your ignition switch and it’s accompanying circuits.

Sometimes when I slow down and accelerate again it will rev high and not move until I accelerate again

Is your D light blinking? Has it ever blinked before? See, try to get a scan of your transmission and bring the resultant codes here.

I didn’t notice the lights and co. But yes , this is exactly what happened. Alright, I’ll have them take a look, thanks.

No no, go to mobil petrol station and buy the mobil 2000 5w30 the one with a black cover , use it for one oil change interval and observe the conditions of both the oil level and your engine performance.

Note that the 20w50 mobil XHP has a blue cover, don’t use this one. Use the one with a black cover.
Okay. This one, right?
What is the current price or an estimate?

It's my first time ...so they don't cheat me

The first code is for your evap canister purge valve and the second code is for either your throttle position sensor or electronic throttle sensor on your throttle body.

Is your vehicle using drive by wire or throttle cable?

Are you sure there is 5 liters? I have not seen it. Can you share the pictures?

It only comes in 4 liters in most mobil filling stations I have been to

There is. Walk into big mobil petrol stations and you’d get it. There is also the regular 4ltr can too.

Yes I don’t know why most retailers don’t stock it. Or even if they have it in stock people buy it up very fast.

I have a slow leak on my engine and I’ve been using this one for my last 2 oil changes. My engine takes 4ltrs and I use the rest for top off till my next change.

It’s the most cost effective method of sidestepping my problem for now. I have driven roughly 2,000kms since my last oil change and I still have half a liter left in the 5ltr can which means before I top off the whole 5ltrs I’m already due for another change.

Since I found out about this 5ltr can I’ve never even looked at the 4ltr own again because It’s cheaper than buying the 4ltr can and an extra 1ltr one at the same time.

Let me bust your head, even the regular mobil 1000 XHP 20w50 has its own 5ltr can too cheesy

lol don't think it's that new bro, for the past one year I've been buying and using the 5 liters for servicing of my rides o. smiley but just like he has said, what I observed from the Mobil filling stations is,they hardly put on the 5 liters on display compared to the usual and more common 4L but when you say it's the 5L you want to buy, they will bring it out,I think its for business purposes and gains anyway, cos it seems buying 4L +1L seems to be more profitable to them.

No it’s not new product in the market. I’ve been seeing them on shelves since 2020.

Even this morning on my way to work I saw them at a nearby mobil station and took pictures.

The mechanic who worked on your suspension must have either damaged your wheel speed sensor for that tyre oh he didn’t plug it into the socket on the hub well after doing his work so go back and tell him to check.

Better still get a simple scan of the vehicle so you know exactly what the issue is.

No, you’d need a 5 liters can of engine oil for it because It’s a 6 cylinder engine.

Good morning, was discussing car with my guy. I wanna get my first car so according to him he said the maintenance of evil spirit is high. Please how true is that?
And for a first car is the accord 08-010 a good choice?
Thank you.
