congratulation
wat are the document you submitted

Atunde5:
I was denied usa visa twice in 2018, when I wanted to apply for an ireland visa most people said I shouldn't disclose it but I said
honesty is the best policy. Besides, I now have documents that have made their denials look irrelevant now. To the glory of God, my Irish visa was approved this month for my postgraduate studies.

So, please disclosed it and perhaps write a letter of yours to explain why the denial happen and ways that show you are more eligible now.

Hello Ubom123,

I know some countries share informations among themselves. USA share with Canada, Schengen countries shares among themselves. I am not sure if Canada shares with Ireland/UK.

I know someone who had 2 visit visa refusals from USA 2017, 1 visit refusal from Gemany 2017 and 2 study visa refusals from Canada between 2018 & 2019. The person applied for Irish study visa 2019 declaring all refusals and got visa to study in Ireland.
However, these are visa refusals and not visa ban.

*Visa refusals are not visa ban* .

The question you should answer by yourself is why were you banned from Canada?

I don’t think anyone gets banned for minor mistakes. Bans are only given for deliberate dishonesty , false information or material misrepresentation on submitted application. I am not saying you did anything or accusing you but if the ban letter from Canada states the reasons of the 5 or 10 years ban, and you now have enough supporting documents to counter the ban, I think you can apply stating the ban including all relevant documents.

Also, I think before Brexit UK shares information with Ireland as they are neighbours just like Canada/USA. I don't know about now.

Goodluck.

Kind regards,

Louis

I have a visa ban from Canada.

Will it affect my application if I want to apply for visa to Ireland for postgraduate?

Do they share informations like UK?

I will appreciate a sincere answer.

Hello and Happy Sunday,

If this is for a September 2022 intake, I'll suggest you check with your school before making payment if they are still accepting payment. Or more importantly, make sure they have a Jan/Feb intake for your course so If you cant meet up for September , you can apply for your visa towards Jan/Feb intake.

Cheers

Yes they are still accepting payments and my course doesn't accept Jan/Feb intake, I just want to know which bank process Form A faster, so I can use them for payment. Or better still know the duration form A takes mostly.
Thank You!

Please good afternoon guys. I’m a final year student. Is it advisable to start a new undergraduate study (Nursing) in Ireland, without waiting for ASUU.

Congrats on your ADR journey.
Submission and documents: You may check some pages back on this thread.
- PoF: kindly opt for education bond. Benefits & reasons well discussed on this thread
- PoE: you may opt for Duolingo. Seemly more convenient as you can do 'online'
Info as at 19 May, visa application starts online, then submission.
www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-study-in-ireland/what-are-my-study-visa-options/how-to-apply-for-long-term-study-visa/
How to apply: You must apply online for a visa.
First, complete the online application process. The online system will then create a summary application form

According to VFS Nigeria guide: visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/irl
1. - identify visa type: ticked (study in your case)
2. - Begin application: start online
3. - Book appointment: for biometric, 'interview'
4. - Pay visa fee
5. - Visit VAC: D-day aka interview. scheduled appointment, hard copy + questionnaire submission, biometric ... visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/irl/attend-centre/what-happens-at-centre
6. - Track visa application
7. - Collect passport with visa aka perfect 7: typically couriered

Yes you may. However as I understand it or from feeler on this thread and Irish immigration site, you are way below the 8 weeks. Deferring to the next intake might just be a sure bet. Do keep your uni (ICD) along.
PS : I don't know the 3 months rule will apply in your case. Those with hands-on experience will respond.
Just to clarify, ideally, if you're to travel say Jan, you should only commence application around Oct or thereabouts. However, from all the delays, your guess is as good as mine.

PLEASE ANYONE!!!

how long did you get the confirmation/admission letter from school after payment?
also, please what's the duration of pof in your account, how long should you have the 7000euro in your account?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Louiscares: 1:35pm On Jul 30, 2022
Hello Adaobiada,

You can carry all you have listed to Ireland.

I will list what I have carried on board personally:

I have carried several type of DRIED fishes ( Oporoko, kpala, mangala, etc) dried pepper, crayfish, palm oil, Benny ( I haven't seen Benny here but I have seen Knorr, maggi, so I brought Benny from Nigeria) , pepper soup spices, blended banga soup spices, dried Kpomu, dried tartarche(pepper), groudnut, dried tiger nut (Hausa groudnut),Suya spice, Stew and chicken spices, Choco Milo, Chichi,Longrich toothpaste, pando yam and beans flour, Vaseline, Ijebu garri, eguisi, ogbono. These are what I can remember that I have checked in coming to Ireland.

If you don't have space for much, I would advise you take more of what you need in cooking than beans because of the weight. Although, we have similar Nigerian beans here but it seems the African shop close to where I am has limited options of Nigerian bean. I don't know about other African shops within Dublin or the county you are going .

Please, note you can get almost all of what I listed above and other Nigerian/African stuffs in Ireland including Indomie Noodles but might be expensive especially when you try to convert it to Naira( you can't avoid this conversion the 1st few months you are here...lol).

You can carry as much stuff you want as long as you have enough space .

Lastly, please, ensure you check in all food stuff including your provisions ( milk, cereals etc) and not in your hand luggage/bag.

Additional point: perfumes (I think nothing above 18 or 30ml are allowed in hand luggage/bag), same with tooth paste . Kindly check the airline website to confirm the ml allowed or to be on the safe side ,check everything in your luggage/boxes.

Also, you can look up this site.

https://www.fsai.ie/legislation/food_legislation/imports_exports/personal_imports.html

Have a safe flight.

Kind regards,

Louis

The hospital will conduct a comprehensive medical check before she resumes work with them. It is called occupational health investigation. That's a big risk if she mistakenly infects a patient and the hospital will be sued heavily and they may loose operational licence
