1. For the first visa refusal, reason stated was that my declared monthly income wasn’t what was coming into my salary account every month. I am paid per day so when I don’t work I don’t get paid and I simply stated what I earn when I work for 30 days. I wrote a cover letter and explained this.
2. Second refusal acknowledged and agreed with my cover letter but stated that my monthly expenses exceeded what was reflecting in my bank statement. It also stated that for some deposits I had on the second account, information provided didn’t reflect origin of funds.
This surprised me. I had clearly stated in my cover letter that I moved funds between the 2 bank accounts submitted especially from salary to savings. ECO interpreted all outflow as expenditure. Secondly, I mentioned receiving occasionally monetary gifts which amount to just 100k and It was mostly sent close to my birthday. I don’t know how else I could have proved this. Finally, I lent someone money, submitted screenshot of the debit to the said named person, and that person paid me back 50 percent , and I equally stated it in my cover letter. I honestly do not know how else I could have done this because all points noted in second refusal, I had already written a cover letter to explain them with some proof and still got the refusal with these reasons.

It’s been a year now, and I’ll just want to know if I can move on with my application without a cover letter because I don’t even know what I’ll write again. Please advise

Just mention them in the comment section. A study visa is point based and as long as you haven't committed any serious infraction in previous applications, it doesn't matter.

Actually even on Nairaland, we had a person who overstayed his visa, lived illegally in the UK for about 3 years but was honest enough to disclose it on tbe application and still got the visa.

I'm sure you'll have no problems with your previous refusal.

What if you don't get an offer again?
Deferring the offer should be ideal solution. If you got an offer without a passport, you will see the passport as one of the conditions.
Defer it please.
But your decision is your choice!

very incorrect. Your visa length will be on your BRP and not on your passport. You can renew in the UK but pls do your NIN in Nigeria before leaving. Nin in the UK is 40 pounds

If you registered with Chrome browser, you can proceed to settings=> password and verify your password.
Though I have not reached your level.

I have selected and paid for a self-service appointment on August 29.

Now, it took me back to a page where I can track application, amend appointment, upload etc. I clicked on "upload" to start uploading the documents myself, then it redirected me to a log-in page.

I tried using the same log-in details I signed up with on the UKVI website, but it's saying invalid details. Does anyone know what's happening? Thanks.

Got a conditional offer for January intake at ARU: To submit work reference and police clearance certificate. I have uploaded both documents.

Next steps says I should pay 4k tuition deposit (paid already) and provide evidence of maintenance funds to the school. My POF will be 28 days old on August 9. Can I submit POF before it clocks 28 days old or wait till day 28( Aug 9)?

Deadline to meet all requirements is Aug 22

When was the conditional offer issued, as i want to confirm if they expect the account to be funded prior to the issuance of conditional offer. I also applied to ARU for Jan 2023 intake and yet to get an offer. When did you submit your own application please and how long does it normally take to get admission decision after applying.

employers tht ask are for jobs that involve working with vulnerable people eg healthcare jobs etc

Yes I did a walk-in at their VI location yesterday. Just make sure you have a print out of your checklist, passport data page, appointment email and they also asked for the proof you have submitted your documents online (So print out that page with the list of documents submitted). They only accepted self-service walk-in. Though I had to wait from 7am till about 2pm after they had finished with everyone who had an appointment (I suggest you go early). I don't know if it is an everyday thing or based on how the crowd is for the day.
