This is my gcms note that I got today can anyone interpret?

I used my dad's company account he is the owner
The balance there was 8m I also used his savings account with a balance of 5m
My course is biochemistry for four years and I'm an undergraduate 19 years
Any guru who knows the interpretation please?

Hello, sorry to hear this.
How much is your fees?
Did you pay it in full?
If I understand you have 13M naira in total as proof of funds which is 40,000 cad.
If your school fees wasn't paid in full and you have just 13M, it means the company is going to be bankrupt just financing your education. So please give more information.

Again remember it will end in praise

Hello Morenikeji25,

Using a corporate account as the primary POF is not advisable, especially for a third-party sponsorship. Even for parent sponsorship, when using a corporate bank account, it is wise to include a board resolution recognising the sole authority and unrestricted access to the company funds to undergo such sponsorship venture.

The combined total of both the corporate and savings bank account presented is not sufficient funds to undergo a UG study in Canada. Due to the study length and cost of an undergraduate study, the officer would want to see more funds sufficient enough to show the available funds for the payment of your first-year tuition and demonstration for the successive years.

If your father can work on his funds to about N15m upward, in his savings account, with healthy inflows, and aside from the first year or two-year tuition that is wise to be paid before re-applying, demonstrating funds availability for your study will be easy and improve your application's competitiveness. Do well to also demonstrate justifiable home ties that can compel your return.

Success is all I wish You!

I don't know whether the same thing applies to Canada, but let me just tell you what the Visa Officer that interviewed me for a student visa in 2019 at the US Consulate as quoted below:

"Your school fees is N10m and the balance in the bank account of the company you presented to be your sponsor is also N10m. It's not possible for the company to spend all its money on you alone without being affected. Your visa application is therefore refused."

Na so the woman just handed me that rejection paper.

So, I'm guessing the VO refused your application maybe because the difference between your total expected cost in Canada and the total amount in the company's plus your dad's accounts is too small.
Yes I thought so too thank you so much thank you

Goodmorning house. Please I would like to make some inquiries.

In the event of a study permit denial, is it advisable to defer my admission to the next term, obtain a new letter of admission and reapply for study permit or is it better to cancel my current admission, reapply for a new admission and then reapply for study permit?

@makano, @mrfrank and all the gurus in the house, I need your thoughts on this please.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Margs(f): 5:49pm On Aug 05, 2022
Wow! I can’t even believe that you took your time to respond to every single point I raised. Thank you very much!

I will work on the applications myself and yes you are right about PM and Biz Analytics etc. being sellable on the basis you shared. I will go through all your posts and work on my applications myself. Thank you so so much! Really appreciate you taking the time out to respond. I wish you the very best as well

JustMellow:

Hello Margs,

The course choice depends on your primary study focus, between the two shortlisted learning areas, and how you wish to relate your story to the officer may be. From what I understand about Project Management & Analytics or Financial Analytics/Information & Business Insights, it stretches across diverse learning fields including the Wellness profession. In addendum, the study can be continued-learning from the teachings of the online MBA, like a buildup of academic work—online vs in-person study and curriculum scope. I believe this answered the question.

Also, it depends on how eagerly you want your son's company. However, I will recommend the study permit. You can always act to sponsor him through school and/or include him in your PR application when you intend to apply, among other ways. If the patience and/or time are available, he can leverage the EE route if he can score high as possible. But work experience and one degree may likely drop his CRS score.

The process is simplified and can be done yourself if you have the time—to handle the process as well as gather the knowledge through researching the IRCC website and this study thread. You can also decide to read through my posts, I believe it will also be insightful. If you can afford the service of an Immigration Lawyer, it is pretty much allowed. From what I know, applications made by immigration lawyers are not treated with special attention by IRCC and it is also not a guarantee that the application outcome would be positive. Sad enough, only a few immigration lawyers know their onions. I will recommend you handle it yourself. My opinion.

Success is all I wish You!

Depends on how much time you have actually.

If you are applying to resume in September then you should defer your admission to the next admission cycle. You don’t necessarily have to cancel it.

Because on the average, GCMS notes take one month to arrive then reapplication is anywhere from a month upwards. By then classes would have resumed.

If you’re to resume in January however, just order notes, repackage and refire.

All the best.

Hello Beautiful people, please I need your assistance.

I have been gathering my documents, intend to go for a premedical examination by September, and then submit the application.

Just concerned about hometies.

1. I am working remotely for a company in the US. should I submit my employment certificate from this company? Is that a red flag?

2. I have a land and my mom who is the sponsor also has her land. If she gift me her land, will that carry weight? (I have learnt about the gift deed thing here, tbh I don’t know how to go about it)

3. I have also registered a liability company couple months ago with the intention of coming back to start operations. Won't that be a red flag due to the time frame the company was registered compared with my application time.

Thanks. It will all end in praise for sure. Amen!!!

You must submit proof that you are coming to Canada for a temporary visit.

Examples of what you can provide as proof:

A scanned copy of:

Your flight ticket departing Canada,
Your travel itinerary (e.g. places you will visit or stay, such as hotel booking),
Proof of a medical appointment.

Please gurus for applying for an open work permit with your spouse(study permit).
What do you attach for purpose of travel?

Thank you sir
johnstan:

Deed of assignment is usually a document backing the purchase/sale of a property (land/house) in relation to the transfer of ownership.

Gift deed is simply the transfer of something from a donor to the person receiving the gift (it could be lump sums of money etc). It doesn't involve sale/purchase.
