I have been reading through some of Philo's works, and nothing I have read so far even comes close to that statement in[b] John 1 vs 1[/b]. So please kindly post the exact portions of the work that you accuse John of plagiarising. Or I will simply take it as I do most other uninformed claims I read of here on Nairaland.

2. There are many versions of Jesus out there. Even when he was on this Terra firma, people believe different things about him, about his mission etc. So much so, he had to ask his close associates : the disciples, that who do people take him for and different answers were given.

3. He asked his disciples too! And if you want to know their responses, you will need to gather all the Gospels that were written about Jesus.
The Canonical and the hidden which you people call apocrypha. Gather them and read them all. You will be amazed. What you have in the canonical is just part of what people take him for.

I have read all. And I know what to believe of him.

1. Gawd! Philo of Alexandria was a Jew but versed in the Literatures of the Greeks. He was trying to find harmony in the Greeks Philosophy and Jewish Faith and Culture. He wrote many books trying to find harmony in the two Philosophy.So, you will find him quiting Jewish figures in his work.

Jesus commanded us to baptise in those three names "matthew 28:19" because they are one and not different entity and we were made to know those three are one in "1 john 5:7" jesus as well told us he and the father are one "john 10:30" we were made to know jesus is the word of God and the word was God "john 1:1-15"
Please can you differentiate the spirit and the word from the real being?
