Apart from being an illegal immigrant which of course she is, many Nigerians believes when they travelled abroad it is an automatic ticket to wealth. They fail to understanding that you have to work but now in a saner clime that appreciates hard work. Was she expecting money to fall on her while sleeping? Can you just imagine?

To anybody planning on traveling abroad the most important advice I can give is to remember that the people you first stay with will have a great influence on what your future and directions will be in that country. If you happen to stay with people that are into an education trust me you'll be too. If they are into illegal activities trust me you'll be too. The initial people you stay with are a great predictor of what you will become unless you have been well wired with a strong will and well-grounded

It's either poverty or total hatred to your country because things not working here as expected from our leaders, led your response like this,

I've experienced what the woman is facing now, I left my work at tax office then and travelled to Ireland,

the work I did there, I can't do it when I was in Nigeria, after I retuned home, I can't travel and be doing all these job abroad again,

it's better I travel only for tourism, today I'm happy in Nigeria and comfortable with mind of being contented with what God has done for me.

MANY OF THEM ARE SHOCKED TO RETURN TO NIGERIA ON VACATION AND SEE THEIR MATES THEY GREW UP WITH NOW LIVING IN MANSIONS THEY OWN, WHILE IN THE US, UK ETC, THEY'VE BEEN RENTING A TINY FLAT FOR YEARS WITH NO HOPE OF OWNING A PROPERTY.

AVERAGE HOUSE PRICE FOR A SMALL HOUSE WITH 2 OR 3 BEDROOMS IN LONDON IS HALF A MILLION POUNDS. YOU MUST BE EARNING AT LEAST 80,000 POUNDS PER ANNUM TO AFFORD IT. THE SECURITY JOB WILL PAY YOU 22K MAX. IF YOU ARE LUCKY TO GET A HIGHER PAID JOB SOMEWHERE, PATA PATA 40K. STILL NOT ENOUGH TO BUY A HALF-DECENT PROPERTY. FORGET ABOUT BUYING LAND THERE. WHO BORN YOU TO AFFORD LAND?

Am telling you. Even their farmlands look like deserted grasslands. If you have never been tbere before, you wouldn't know which place is better. No forests as seen along lagos ibadan Expressway except govt reserves, with tight security lol. They treat plants like human. I've travelled across the world, even dat Germany sef I don waka. No place like home guy. With good leadership in place, everyone would return home.

Lazy, ungrateful, and for the most part very wicked people who hate competition as if say na their money people wan take travel or na their money dem go take dey pay their salary.

However it is, it is still better to be able to work legitimately, earn a living by so doing, and be able to afford most of the good things of daily living.

The one thing these people always complaining and hoping they are discouraging people don't know is that God and nature abhor ungratefulness and ingratitude as an act.

It does never augur well with such people in the long run.

You complain about hardship and unemployment in your country.

Now, you have the opportunity to be in a place where there are jobs instead of being grateful and getting down to bettering your conditions legally na so so complain or the most will take to the fast lane of committing crimes while deluding themselves on being smart.

My one and continuous advise remains if you have the resources and legitimate means to jakpa and better your condition legally, by all means, leap because it is your right to live a decent life even God acknowledges this.

Who says you can't contribute your quota or suggestions on how to better Nigeria from anywhere you are in the world.

How you know what they are saying is from the heart and not to deceive anyone is that NEW ARRIVALS always say abroad is great just like people back home say it is great. It is only after they've been there for sometime that their eyes clear. But then there are also those who say the best thing they ever did was move abroad 20 years ago!

No one gives free money, no election money or agbero collecting free money on the express.

You work and get paid. Your boss will never owe you.
Nigerians abroad find it hard to adapt to a well structured environment.
