It is acceptable to me as a Christian who has watched Tinubu lead a state without rancour between Muslims and Christians.

A state where Nigerians that are non-yoruba can grow in the civil service without fear of sack due to tribal or state origins.

If any candidate can boast of such besides Tinubu, let him show us the proof.

We will certainly go and verify.

You didn't get many "likes" because this isn't a popular opinion but unfortunately it is a bitter truth. I don't know your tribe because I don't want to commit fallacy of overgeneralization. However, I think Igbos people are taking things far. I am not a fan of Tinubu but save for his health challenges, he is far ahead of other contestants... Lol

All this noise about muslim- Muslim should stop. If you are not voting for them is your right . Some of us are voting based on capacity & competence. We are tired of all this religious bigotry. I will vote Asiwaju and Shettima not because they are Muslims but because I see them as the best combo to salvage the country. On Tinubu mandate I stands.

This Muslim-muslim ticket is just like a leap year. It occurs any time a southern Muslim candidate emerge. The predominance of Muslims in the north is overwhelming that a good politician will risk to ignore.

Even Tinubu whose religious tolerance is so glaring that his only wife is RCCG pastor has suddenly become a terrorist.

The northern christains are hiding on religious premises to become vice president. Even Babachir (grass cutter) is making noise.

Hmmm, 2023 here we come. If power refused to shift down South due to religious/individual greediness, it will remain in the north.

But whoever shout northern oligarchy afterwards with be in trouble with the God he believes in.

He is pdp man.

Tinubu is unstoppable.
He is the best politician in Nigeria.

Tinubu is fair, honest, upright, just, equitable , open-minded, truthful and sincere person.
He represents all Nigerians of different religions and tribes.

He demonstrated that as lagos governor.
Many of his commisioners and other people that worked with him are now vice-president, ministers, governors etc.

U are a talking as if u are confused.
Is Tinubu a Lagosian.
Igbos and other tribes have been working in all the ministry's of govt before u were born due to its confluence nature as the former federal Capital of the country.

Do u also know that Ebitu Ukiwe and Ndubuisi Kanu were two former igbos that were once governors in Lagos state and one of them handed power to Alhaji Jakande.

The mistakes u guys are making is to credits every achievements of Lagos to Tinubu even when Lagos had been existing before he was born.

This level of tribalism has to stop going forward.
After all,Tinubu is not from Lagos even u talking May not have any affiliations to that state,so why do u talk just because of hate towards others.

Igbos and others tribes have contributed more to the development of Lagos more than any tribe in Lagos. E.g go to Epe,ikorodu,Badagry and Lekki,ikeja, Festac Town,Alakija,satellite Town,Okota,isolated and name it.

The only thing the indigenes do is to sell Land and keep selling and selling without thinking about their children's future but to depend on one man called Tinubu for rescue when u guys can carve a niche by running your affairs by yourselves.

Think about it as I was born in Lagos in 1983.

It's a Town I know very well till this day.

From my observation Nigerian Christians leaders are more stupid than American politicians.

What we should be talking about now supposed to be which Christian apc or pdp candidate to vote for but the Christians could not get their heart together and make things happen.

We actually need a Christian man from the north as next president.

I can now safely say that Nigerian Christians have unanimously condemned Tinubu's satanic combo. When you consider that famous Christian leaders like Oyedepo, Kukah, Chinyere, Enenche, Ibiyomie, CAN association and so many others too numerous to mention have all voiced out in very clear terms that this combination is evil and unacceptable then you will realize it is game over.

Everyone warned Tinubu not to go this dangerous path but he was adamant. He claims to be wise yet behaves like a dunce. Just look at how Northerners scammed him by telling him to go for it only to abandon him.

Northern Muslims even rejected him on top after making himself enemies of Christians.

The only honorable thing left for Tinubu to do now is to withdraw from the race otherwise he would be disgraced at the polls.

No matter how we sugar-coat it, that M-M ticket will heighten religious tensions & further divide the country along religious lines.
When you have a Liberal Muslim as the President, the Muslim-Muslim ticket does not matter. Tinubu is not a member of MURIC. That Tinubu's wife is a Christian and a Pastor and some of his children, if not all of them are Christians should tell you something about the APC presidential candidate. Tinubu will not be presiding over Mosques or Churches, he will be presiding over Nigerians of all tribes!

Just wondering how those who wrapped their religion with politics and democracy are thinking the Muslims are their contemporary in that respect. Most of Muslim politician in this country are never Islamic clerics but such cannot be said of other religion.

Hunger, corruption, insecurities, under-development is non respecta of religion, tribe. The earliest we separate politics from religion the best.

Religion is of GOD ALMIGHTY while politics especially this democracy of a thing is of western super powers.

Good governance is what nourishes humanity irrespective of religion of the people.

You can't hate your neighbor and be expecting him to pray/praising for you.

You are right but Nigeria is a complex country where you can not relegate religious & ethnic sentiments to the background - at least for now.
If GOOD GOVERNANCE is all that matters, why was FEDERAL CHARACTER enshrined in our Constitution? It's simply to make every section of this country have a sense of belonging in National affairs.

Tinubu is a very insensitive and extremely Machiavellian person. This is evident in his dealings with political friends and opponents. Some end up mysteriously assassinated, others are openly threatened with same, cue lagoon comment by Akiolu and the attacks on Igbo dominated areas during the last elections.

I'm a Yoruba and a Muslim, only fools will fall for their lies about competence. You don't speak of competence when offering admissions to schools and for civil service appointments, but now you can? Are there no competent Christians in the North? It is plain bigotry. They will burn the country down if there was ever a Christian only ticket. In fact, the North will rather vote for a cow than vote a Christian.

Surely, Nigeria deserves better than to have this kind of a person and an admitted drug lord who forfeited assets to the US Federal Government as her President.

Only an enemy of Nigeria will vote for Tinubu. He is bad news to Nigeria. Nonetheless, his supporters have a right to do so. This is what democracy is all about.
