Deltamani:
This would be my top pick going to the World Cup with my final best 7 coming from this 10..
This would also be their age going to the World Cup

•- Desire Ugochi Oparanozie 29yrs
•- Asisat Lamina Oshoala 28yrs
•- Ifeoma Onumonu 29yrs
•- Uchenna Kanu 26yrs
•- Rasheedat Ajibade 23yrs
•- Esther Okoronkwo 26yrs
•- Francisca Ordega 29yrs
•- Monday Gift 21yrs
•- Flourish Sabastine 18yrs
•- Anam IMO 22yrs

From this 10, I would drop 3 considering their form and if there’s any injury..
Ok chief..
Nice list

Qualifiers or tournament format?

Well i rather Oparanozie than Ebere orji
mostob:
Good. IMO, with Oshoala's recent struggle with injuries and the fact that we don't know the Oparanozie that would show up, our striking department is far from being effective.

Tournament, only the winner will qualify for champions league

I hope you’re not writing Ebere Orji off, She’s one forward that’s always on the international wilderness though very skilful, quick and a Clinical Finisher. I don’t really know what to say cause the Coaches hardly look her way.!

Some Nigerian publications use the words "soccer" and "football" interchangeably. So it is also proper to use the word "soccer" on here.

At least Nigeria will have nothing to worry about now. The 2 times we got to the final, we were beaten by Germany.

You have succeeded in using English to say absolutely nothing.

How exactly does this make sense to you?

It's obvious you either didn't watch the game or you have no business analysing football in public fora.

BTW, it's football in this part of the world, only America and a few other use Soccer.
haba naw bros, the way people watch their football is different..some analyse it better and others dont really do, but it's not proper to shushh them because you see yourself as a super analyst, pls lets respect people's opinions... he also means well for the girls just as you, that was why he sited those areas he felt they should improve on..

as for whether it is "football" or "soccer" it doesn't matter in as much as you understand what he is trying to say.
thanks

First, I am not a super expert and do not claim to be one. I only share my opinions as I deem fit and engage with similar or differing views on this platform. A quick glance at my posts will show you that.

My grouse with him however was his lack of basic decency whenever he engages with people while making little or no sense. He's also consistently demeaned the players, claimed we'll be disgraced against France, and when the players proved him wrong he pivots to them not having "basic knowledge of soccer".

He generally name calls anyone who disagrees with him (deluded Nigerians, typical Africans etc.). A careful look at his post will show you that. So it's simply not a case of two people with ideological differences, but someone who's constantly displayed bad habit (would have at least made some sense if he was making sense).

Not engaging anymore though, will let him be.

She's been invited on occasions, but she never measures up to standard.

Lovewins isn't the only moniker he has had an altercation with here. His takes and arguments always lack decency and respect. He predicted doom for the falconets to which I disagreed with him..the next thing for him was to call me deluded and a typical Nigerian
Nobody is an expert here neither do we know one another's age but relating with one another with respect and decency is important.

How many minutes did she played?
I'm not advocating for her but right now, we need a striker and if she has what we need, she should be called up.

Veteran Superfalcon Midfielder Rita Chikwelu Sign for Spanish Clubside FC Levante Las Planas

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 5:36pm On Aug 17, 2022
Hmmm... leaves Madrid CFF for newly promoted Levante Las Planas.

Let's hope they don't go down sooner than they came up. They've achieved promotion twice in 2 seasons (first to the Reto Iberdrola and now from Reto up to the Primeira).
Interesting side but the Primeira Iberdrola is top top top level. Time will tell.

If she's that good all the coaches won't ignore her and you are making it sound like we have a striking crisis angry the problem we have is creating chances not putting them away

What’s there to see?
Don’t understand all the clamoring for a spent player when the focus should be on the likes of Esther Okoronkwo and other younger ones.

We keep on regurgitating the past…

Desire Oparanozie is not a Spent player… neither is she Finished yet..

If Oparanozie was available for the AWCON, Maclean’s wouldn’t have made that team and Onumonu wouldn’t be playing the whole of 90minutes..

Oparanozie has better shooting power, quickest feet’s and her Physical presence upfront is tormenting to any opposition defences… She knows how to hold on to play better than Onumonu and will hardly lose the ball to Opposing defender..
She’s a better set piece taker and an expert in penalty…

My only complaint about Oparanozie is her Sluggishness which she makes up with her rest attributes…
