A friend paid 35k here in Sokoto to an officer (express as they claim, cos they usually charge 25k) and got his passport in less than 24hrs. He was captured in less than 1hr after payment.

I choose the DIY path since I will not be needing it anytime soon, paid N17800/person for myself and wife last Saturday.

We didn’t book any appointment, just walked to there office in sokoto today being 16/08/2022 with all required documents in a file. The officers weren’t discriminating if it’s through them or DIY, they see it as their duty to attend to you.

We were both captured after going through all the processes and left there in less than 40mins. We were told the passports will be ready between 4-6 weeks (fair enough for us).

It's not the enhanced ppt. They don't use NIN over there.

Hi guys, please if I'm seeing " application not found " on the tracking site after capturing on the 22nd of July. The capturing location was Festac. What should I do?

Sure all things being equal you will be notified from the track site or via SMS but check again after a month if you've not be notified via those platforms

But the only solution I know is to try and msg them via email (NIMCCUSTOMERCARE@nimc.gov.ng) and also do the same on the Instagram(nimc_ng) page by sending the DM.
Same happened to me and it got sorted after a week of sending them several msgs. Keep bothering especially on Instagram.

Please I have my biometric for my passport on Friday, although I am yet to give my guarantors the form to fill, which I want to do today, please how can I get this form, the page I clicked on their portal for the form, after filling my application ID no and Reference no, an error message keeps coming out as application not found, this form is required for first time applicants..... Pls how can I get this form

You are correct. An officer told me they can issue passport without NIN number.

Lagos but if it’s something I can get within a day or two I can come to Ibadan

not in all states. Any state that has launched enhanced ppt- Lagos, Abuja, Rivers, Enugu can not issue the older types of passport.

This is getting really annoying and frustrating and the minister was saying there is no shortage anymore.

He said I was to look at it before they send to production. What he meant by that, I do not know. We gave all correct credentials: birth certificate, NIN slip. My son is 3years old.

Any implication as regards this of it's not corrected? I'm thinking of doing a new birth certificate so it can tally with what is on the passport.

This is serious oooo.. It's only at the immigration headquarters Abuja it can be corrected and it will cost u a lot

You are on the old site. Visit the new website
https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/ then click on guarantor form. and you would only be required to provide the reference number and maybe date of birth, then tick 'im a human' box to download the guarantor form.
