The leopard in question is a young female. Probably learning the ropes of becoming a parent.

I didn't go to work on time today because of this episode.I said I must watch it till the end.The leopards mum was even angry with it as she now had two new born leopards.she drove her son away.

It’s really annoying when people just say what they don’t know.. Leave cartoons out of it, hyenas are one of the most misunderstood and under-appreciated species in the animal kingdom.

The same people who tell you that hyenas kill for fun will also tell you that they’re lazy and are generally scavengers as mentioned by Emerald04. Forget about those awful pictures you see online, Hyenas grow older than most carnivores. Hyenas are awesome animals to watch apart from the old frail ones.

I love watching National geographic on dstv.In an episode I watched today,a Leopard killed a heavily pregnant baboon and as he was dragging the baboon along with it,the foetus of the baboon came out and the dead pregnant baboons offspring came out still alive.surprized by this the leopard left its kill and took the newly born baboon along with it and was caring for it and protecting it from other predators.It was actually quite intriguing watching it today.

I actually watched it, even when it was time for them to sleep, the baboon kept going down the tree, because it was scared but the leopard brought it back cuddled it and it felt relaxed and slept off.

So you telling me Nat Geo Wild trying to paint them awful too?? You guys just come online and act like you know it all. About 6 people already mentioned it here hyenas are one ruthless animal with no iota of emotion in them. But you trying hard to make a saint outta them. Just lol.

Yeah, just like NatGeoWild and most movies, people have always created this narrative of sick giggling scavenging weirdos, that’s what I’m trying to correct, it’s not true.

Like you mentioned that they were mainly scavengers, it’s false. Someone said that they kill animals for fun, which obviously contradicts your scavenger idea, and that’s false also.

Talking about wild carnivores not being emotional and being ruthless, please make it make sense. I know they might not fvck with other animals much, or easily become friends with humans but they’re pretty social. I once watched an episode so many years ago where they were likened to Facebook style of having friends and friends of friends. They make friends and stick to those friends in their clan of over 100.

Majority doesn’t mean that y’all are correct... learn to learn. I guess you don’t know that the male lion is one of the most useless, lazy, and entitled wild animals out there, because they are said to be the king of jungle carrying every other animal along abi??
