Hi!

I am trying to apply for an IT course. However I have BTech in Agricultural Engineering. But I have been working in an IT related field while in uni and post uni. I also have the BCS Cert.

Usually most Canadian schools require a prior degree in a computer science / IT related course for admission.

How can I beat this?

Happy Sunday everyone..
I want to ask a question and would appreciate if I get a reply.
When a course is 45 credit ….. what would be the duration for the course
Would it be 2 years or 1 year ?

Hi, did you use your Naira debit card? I want to book a flight this week but I'm not sure if the monthly limit on Naira debit card applies to flight tickets. Do I have to go get a prepaid dollar debit card?

Hi Treasure134,

You can easily order your SOP on www.gigdraft.com. Just click on Instant Price Quote and other steps are illustrative. Moreover, there's a Naira Bank Transfer option at checkout in case you prefer a Naira payment.

P.S. Service Type would be Visa SOP

I just read the letter, I initially responded based on your subsequent comment.

If you check IRCC website you would observe that the permit and fee they are referring to is for owp (open work permit), I see a lot of family applicants here mention it and the fee stated is the application fee for it.
Now the question is did you apply as a family or single applicant, if you did then you know what next to do.

I applied as a single applicant o. My hubby and 2kids are not accompanying me and I filled them as non accompanying.

Thank you. I have not been copying them but I will do so in my next mail.

Ocool:

With what you have written above, it's likely (I'm not 100% sure o) some of the tests you did require further analyses before it can be confirmed passed or failed before transmission to the IRCC.

You can email them again to ask them what is exactly delaying your results. Copy their headquarters email address hq@iom.net in your next email if you have not been copying it before.

For example, but this is related to the UK, when my friend and I did the tuberculosis tests at IOM Abuja for UK, I got my result immediately that they day. But they subjected my friend to further sputum tests for another 6 weeks before he was certified passed.

Applied 7th June, upfront medical done on 11th May but hasn't been updated till now. IOM informed me via SMS on the 6th of June that my test result has been forwarded to IRCC, a day before my application was submitted.

My biometric is still valid because I did it in 2021 when I got my first denial, though still not updated on my dashboard but I observed on 10th August that eligibility review has started.

The eligibility review may have started earlier but I observed it on the 10th day of August.

I have till 20th September for late registration.

God is alive and will see us through in Jesus Name. Amen!!!!

Please were you able to reserve a flight?
I have a question. What if it's a combined flight? Like Cairo to Paris/Toronto and then to Ottawa?

Will you pay to one or both airlines? I'm planning to book online, reserve it and then pay physically.

Hello house please I m trying to pay for the flight I booked on qartar app with my naira debit card (visa card ) and is not going through what can I do relating to this please!!
I don't know why this forum hardly answers my question ⁉️⁉️ what have I done wrong!!
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Enyinne(f): 4:52pm On Aug 21, 2022
You can check with the airline for a more specific answer.
If u are thinking cairo to Paris flights , do u hv visa for cairo as it sounds like u want to spend sometime in paris . Cairo to paris is best to use Egypt airline and then another flight cairo to Toronto, making 2 flight tickets. As long as u disembark and gets into the city for few days in Cairo, u will need visitors visa. Or to be on the safe side fly directly to Pearson airport Toronto using klm with a stop at Amsterdam then proceed to ur destination Toronto .

Go their office for payment or give an agent to assist u make the payment with the booking reference number . Google their office location and go there to finalize on it . The booking expires 24hrs after booking.

From my experience I think you're attempting to apply for Masters. Masters would require you to have a computer science related background, this is why I opted for a PGD instead.

If it's not a masters then try other schools apart from the one you are attempting to apply to. The Koko is to be a able to convince a VO if you're attempting to switch careers, however, I think with your working experience you have a great shot with that.

Good luck.

Payment is usually for the first carrier, some airlines have an agreement as long you don't have two separate bookings.
