Honestly she has a good run. It was difficult for the Dutch to mark her down.

If this was the case, then the Falconets lacked the ability to seek out a teammate. I guess what gave rise to this defeat are lack of basics and the need to be a heroin. I scored the goal.

Sabastine can coming only if Ikechukwu will be removed. We cannot have three same type of players in the SF

Sebastine is just like Gift Monday. Except she brings something different to the table (which she obviously hasn't shown) she has a long way to go.

I said it since the first game that the attack is mostly individual brilliance. The build ups were good football however.

In the first half, the statistic was the Falconets took 18 shots only 2 were directed to the goal post.

Flourish ended this badly, esp in rating.

Two silly mistakes were the biggest difference for this match, forget our inability to find the net. Coming from your captain, in a team where most of the girls look up to you, shows how those mistakes affected morale.

The Dutch Ajax approach was just vivid. Unlike France, they did their home work on our attackers.

We failed woefully in tactics.

They were playing from the back and only Okwuchukwu was pressing and running while Sebastine was not doing same. Amoo and Abiodun left their markers 5times in the first half. Like, they weren't marking nobody and so two useless legs for 5 times.

Jerry Joy added a spark to the press. I'm sure if we simply beat their press, we would have made them falter and get goals. We made them comfortable at the back.

2nd half showed desperation and breakdown of mental strength as everyone wanted to shoot tame shots at goal. Alani that i was scared for had a good game.

This loss pained Onyenezide pass everybody else.

The post match interview of Danjuma reveals a touch of tactical cluelessness.

But wait oooo. So Oyono is the best U20 goalkeeper we have? I laugh in Spanish..

Chiamaka Nnadozie go too hold that Superfalcons no1 till she retires.. This U17 goalkeeper better Step up. Nnadozie needs Competition. TOCHUKWU OLUEHI is already 35yrs and will retire anytime soon.

I tell you. Unless this Caf champions league run produces a much better deputy for Nnadozie, I'm afraid we will have no competition in that department. Oyono was lucky most aerial duels ended up in fouls on her. She started well but shaky shaky here and there.

Seeing the dutch bench having a great laugh with their smoothies pain me. The Koreans were like that until Onyenezide scored. Chai

Flourish Chioma Sabastine. Too bad. Talented but still a lot to learn in terms of teamwork. You cannot go it alone. If she had used her "sense" to cut back a few times or raised her head to try locate a teammate, the result might have been different.

Her selfish plays are immature for the Super Falcons right now.

Only Esther Onyenezide is mentally, technically and tactically matured to walk into the present Super Falcons from this set.

There is a reason I termed Esther, a Super Falcons material 100%.

Flourish is good and can get in on a 75% pass rating but Esther Chinemerem Onyenezide is the Biggest Truth of this set.

Really sad we crash out due to two errors from one of our most reliables in Demehin. She will learn from this and grow into a better CB I hope.

CAF Women’s Champions league you say?

Bayelsa Queen currently have the toughest Goalkeeping Competition in the NWFL..

1. Cameroon first Choice Goalkeeper is there
2. Onyinyechi Okeke still rated one of the best though but hasn’t been able to hold on to a regular spot in the Superfalcon squad, One week in 2 weeks out..
3. Sandra Chiichii 2014 U20 Women World Cup first Choice Goalkeeper…
4. Oyono Omini is 4th in the Rankings at Bayelsa Queens, I wonder how she got the spot in the Falconet..
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 2:44am On Aug 22, 2022
Only Cameroonian Angie Bawua and Onyinyechi Okeke keep regularly for Bayelsa Queens cause this two goalkeepers rotates it in the Bayelsa Queens line up.

Oyono 4th choice at Bayelsa Queens is Falconet first choice…. Nigeria we haiiiiiil

Oyono should change careers. She is not a goalkeeper.

Already mentioned Rofiat Imuran as a Prospect and one who is already better than Glory Ogbonna in previous posts but even she today was exposed as the crosses for both goals (caused by Demehin's errors) came from her wing. She kinda struggled before she finally settled into the game.

Imuran is another 75%-80% pass for me. She is surely welcome to the Super Falcons and already better than what Glory Ogbonna has been offering.

Also, I think Glory Ogbonna is the only LB Imuran trumps. Patricia George is not their mate.

In all, Only Onyenezide hits the 100% mark from this set in my books. Girl is ready on all counts.

Reminds me of Christy Bulus of the 2006 set. And even Omini is better than Bulus.

I might be harsh but Christy Bulus remains the WORST GK I ever saw in the colors of any of our Women's national teams across all levels.

Chaaaiii.... lady literally cost us that Quarterfinals game vs Brazil at the 2006 U20 WC.

And this is the same coach Nigerians were praising so much and also suggested to be included in the Super Falcons coaching crew. Our girls are incredibly talented and so young, but the Dutch are clearly tactically and technically better.

Out of all the departments, I'm most impressed by the midfielders and believe Onyenezide has everything it takes to compete in the Falcons' attacking midfield. In all, the girls are mostly raw, they just need serious honing. I hope some of them will get signed by teams that will help them develop quickly.

How about Deborah Abiodun?
Her long range shots if properly worked on could be vital to the super falcons..

Even Deborah was annoying to watch yesterday. Her decision-making when she had the ball was disappointing.
How can the only thing that comes to her head everytime she has the ball be to shoot at goal without calculating if it has a fine chance of getting in.

She will find herself in a tight angle and still wanna shoot. That was irritating to watch yesterday. Only her first half effort which hit the bar was good enough. The rest, the Dutch keeper used to statpad on easy saves.

Deborah is a fine ball passer. She ought to have her head up for passing options as well and not just to unleash hopeless shots.

I agree that with more work, it can become a weapon for the Falcons in future when she makes the step-up but abeg, yesterday was not good from her in terms of her decision-making.

Miracle Joseph have been a great Superfalcons prospect for some time now, She trains regularly with the Falcons but they always drop her and pick their best Left Back Glory Ogbonna…

Anyway it’s crystal clear that we have the talented players..
