I couldn’t resume in all 3 intakes and the last one is September 22 and my visa hasn’t been approved yet.
Even my medicals hasn’t been posted on my portal yet.

It’s an undergraduate program (university of Manitoba) Can I email the admission offer for deferral to January 2023? Due to the delay in my visa processing.

Will they approve this deferral as I haven’t paid my tuition fee (U of M undergraduate program doesn’t require tuition deposit).

Or how can I go about it? PLEASE HELP ME. I AM BEGGING, DON’T SCROLL BY.
@olasubomy and other gurus.

NB — This application was submitted October. It’s almost 11 months now. (I ordered for Gcms already)

Good evening house,

Please who knows of anyone who recently got PPR for visitor’s visa. I haven’t been seeing pple share their PPR stories and am wondering. I applied in March and got refused in April, it only took 3 weeks. Re applied in June through the new portal and was hoping decision will come in time but the wait hasn’t been easy.

I haven’t seen my husband for almost 1 year. It’s beginning to get at me.

Here’s the link to the VV group on telegram:

https:///+VtaCaZmd2oQ3MWFk

NB: Clicking on the link won’t take you there directly, so do this: (Between the second and third forward slashes, add “t . me” remove the spaces I put.) I did this because for some reasons, NL keeps removing that part.

I hope I’m not breaking any rules putting the link here. It’s just that it will be nice to have people put up their PPRs so atleast we have hope that they are working on our applications.

hey guys, KIndly need your advises

I applied for canada visit visa on 29th May and had my biometric 10th June for a conference scheduled for 15th to 19th August. during the period which i sent webform and contacted MP. According to MP, my application will be processed in vienna but eligibility has not started.

My question is this; The intended conference is over, which ended today. So, What should i do? withdraw my application or i should just leave it?

this is my first canada application and meanwhile estimated processing time was meant to be 57days

@olasubomy @Yungbilli

As at 24th August…. Canada just did their best with a rejection letter.. I’m not surprise tho… Lmao! Like I submitted all I can like;
- Conference letter and recommendation letter
- 2 land documents in Nigeria
- Bank statement 10k plus euros
- Previous visa and valid visa’s (3 UK visa’s, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, Turkey, 2 Kenya, Dubai, Tanzania) I have been to over 14 countries
- 2 Old family photos
- Two Jobs contract letters (Main job and Mini job)
- 5 months pay slips
- Current residence permit
- hotel reservations
- flight reservations
- statement of purpose
- health insurance
- city registration and resident authorization
- house rent contract
(This are the docs that I could remember)

What else do they really want fam! Lol. The funny part was getting the rejection letter after the proposed conference ended 5 days go.

This application is too strong for them to reject it. Maybe because the conference has passed.

I am so sorry for the delay in responding to your questions. I see you asked a question if you should withdraw your application. I have been soo busy lately, so not regular on Nairaland.

Once again, I am sorry about the outcome of your application. I can't see any fault in what you submitted except if we speak one-on-one so I can understand your profile better. However, don't allow this to bother you. It does not affect your chances of visiting other first-world countries. Just make sure you declare this refusal and put a comment in a way that shows you are a genuine visitor.

My advice is to leave Canada for now and focus on travelling to other countries until you feel you are eligible to visit again, maybe in your next annual leave and then let me know. I can review your application with you, hopefully, I am not soo busy.

You can order your GCMS notes now if you want but not a priority since you are not re-applying so soon. Just take your mind off it. Hopefully, you get it next time.

You will need to discuss with your faculty on deadline for deferral if this is too close. I would advise you to defer so you don't loose your seat in the programme, but better have these discussions with them. 11 months is a long time. I can imagine the anxiety.

I think you should start sending continuous reminders to IRCC on the status of your application. Once the clinic confirms your medical exam has been sent, you need to follow up with IRCC with the medical slip, but IRCC always does their medical assessment before updating to pass on the portal.

Unfortunately it's emotional draining you can tell your husband to write the MP of his Area to follow up detailing how the wait is affecting your marriage , Just this morning 24 August a family of 5 just got VV to go and meet the spouse , application was done in May 2022 but you know it has been very slow for VV since March , Goodluck

Please, I am a newbie here. I have a few questions to ask:
1. Will securing admission (MSc) in a Canadian school that doesn't require IELTS affect my getting a student work permit?
2. As a foreign student am I allowed to go with my family members immediately or after a while? (b) How do I apply fie their visas?
I don't want my passport to waste away grin
Thanks, my people.

I don't know what the agent means by "migration to Canada". I think you can handle this on your own if you are patient to study the thread related to the visa category you want to apply for. One million naira in present-day Nigeria is not a joke, and that's a lot.' No immigration lawyer has influence over decision-making at IRCC.

My advice would be to study the respective thread for your intended visa category and do your research; then, you can ask gurus specific questions you are unclear about in those threads. I believe applications are handled better and more thoroughly when you do them yourself. I dont rule out that there are some good Canadian immigrations lawyers who are very knowledgeable on immigration matters.but those guys charge a lot of money for an application one can do personally. My advice would be you will save that one million if you are patient in learning this yourself.

I hope you are able to make a decision that works best for you.
