Under Obiano the quality of administration dropped drastically. Our success in education, reinvigorated by Obi dimmed , many economic roads and inner city roads were abandoned. But he quickly went and drained our savings to build the airport and ICC.

When Obi resumed office as the governor he met a debt of over 38 billion incurred from unpaid salaries, pensions and gratuity. Obi cleared all these debts and Anambra owed nobody the day Obiano took over. But today, look at how broke Anambra is.

Today, Anambra is shamefully sitting in the fifth place in the waec table of performance. This is the first time in 16yrs!
Aboki keep quiet and stop disturbing our peace. Anambra is still leading in WAEC and NECO. Enugu state Governor who's state came first is not going everywhere celebrating WAEC result as his achievement, even Benue state that dont pay teachers for years came third. Only a failure with nothing to point as achievement claims waec result as achievement.

All you mumu people do is celebrate waec results and then tell cheap lies of obi clearing all pensions and debts as his achievement in 8 years. You cant deceive anyone with all these nonsense. Keep quiet.

Well said. Another mumu aide.

The ones I showed you obiano paid off that accrued before his tenure? Who owed them? And who told you the ones Soludo is paying were only incurred from Obiano tenure?

Meanwhile, I saw you in a thread campaigning with Obiano's achievements in health, after you'll come here to talk rubbish.

Na you I mean mumu. It seams suffering is your portion in this life that's why you are anti-good governance

It's not as developed as Lagos. But it's better than about 33 States in Nigeria out of the 36.

Then why are you guys worried over the same territory. Let them be. You have spend nearly all your time here on same territory.

Moreover I don't have time to talk about slave dealers and bandits. Imagine comparing olden days arochukwu terrorisms to well organised Anambra culture that even the breath is heard in Ixwood.

Lol, these comedians again looking desperately for something to chest beat about. That's how una start to call one of numerous igwes in Nnewi autonomous communities as Obi of Nnewi. We all know that so called obi of Onitsha control only two tiny Local Government and their kingship was imported from Benin

Bitterness is real ooooo. No one can cure you not even us. Osondi owendi.

Most of you guys are just bitter because right from dawn of time Anambra have organised monarchy. The culture is deeped and can never be tainted.

Lol. .Anuohia. SO in your mind Obiano was responsible??

How many hospitals did Obiano build or renovated? Obiano reaped the good foundation Obi left behind in education (Number 1 2014), in Health, in Infrastructure, in Economy (increased IGR due to profit-yielding investments and support for local industries such as SAB miller, Innoson, Juhel, Neimeth, etc)

Obi built a better health apparatus. Obiano to his credit added more buildings to Amaku and set up the PHC system which was corrupted by the crooks he brought into government.

This are roads in Kaduna.

Anambra is 10 times more developed than Kaduna, but bad roads sell it out.

I pray Soludo intensifies the Urban renewal effort in Onitsha and Awka with good roads (closed drainage, sidewalks and bicycle lane), this will stand Anambra out. Lagos, Port Harcourt and some other states have stopped constructing roads without sidewalks and open gutters. Anambra must join the queue.

This is why I don't like Obiano's tenure, he littered Anambra's internal roads with open gutters and poorly designed roads.

Anambra is actually the most developed/built-up state in Nigeria after Lagos. Gov just needs to tar it's roads and the citizens can do the rest.\

Soludo needs to intensify PPP to make Anambra great. Anambra is poor for now (state money), so he needs to patner with Private people to do so many things in health, education, estate and also industrialization. Expand Onitsha Harbour and map out new layouts for investors and industrialists to plug and play.

Start planning a highrise around the Niger River in Onitsha. That Iweka Interchange is a landmark, those houses around it are eyesore.

I can't wait to prefer to Stay in Anambra over anywhere else for economic reasons. We will rise.

NOTE: if you don't get the message just move along.

It's unfortunate that some might see what you wrote and default to calling you names, but you are right. It's shameful that some poverty stricken northern states have better road networks and generally more beautifully kept environments than we do, soludo has his work cut out for him and I hope he delivers.

You have to use a hard hand in Anambra. All those markets spilling over onto roads, All those barrow hawkers making a nuisance of themselves blocking roads. All those people who see sidewalks as market stalls. All those mad youth driving keke like they are driving motorcycle.

Soludo is still giving speeches and setting up committees. Anambra is embracing all the hawkers and illegal traders from everywhere. Home for all. Quality for none. A city should not look like someone's village. It should be neat.

These pictures should in most case show us how backward useless worthless enugu has become.

Enugu was capital the same time Kaduna was capital, but looking at enugu now even Aba looks better than once old capital of the region.

Ugwuanyi has wasted almost 8yrs doing nothing while enugu is a cesspit bad roads, roadside markets, filthy environment, high unemployment, high poverty rate, etc

Uzodinma is very clueless with governance, he should go and learn work from Soludo.

This is Owerri and okada is still the major means of transportation.

Owerri is a village compare to Onitsha and Awka, these cities have flyovers, 10 lanes superhighway, etc, but Owerri doesn't have one functioning flyover. Even aba is now better than Owerri.

No part of imo state has this type of roads, bridges and flyovers.

Owerri needs to do more. There are too many open gutter roads in Owerri without sidewalks in Owerri and other SE states. Let's keep our eyes on the ball and stop celebrating mediocrity. I want us young people to build a SE where Igbos and others from any where in the world would be proud to call home.

It begins with us, let's eschew celebrating these politicians when they do mediocre stuff and expect praises. Or old mothers and fathers can ignorantly praise them due to the fact that they may be ignorant. But we should know better.

If I had the power, I would have House of Assembly ban open gutter roads with no sidewalks in all SE states.

Imagine Aba, a commercial city, yet the governor is still constructing open gutter roads with no sidewalk yet the complaint of how the gutters gets filled with dirts. Why won't it be filled with dirts??

The greatest undoing of the Igbos race is people that behave like you and the guy you just mentioned.

Well, hopefully we will get rid of these tendencies by investing in quality education in orientation from the early childhood stage.
