Hello everyone,

So I withdrew my visitor's visa application on the 5th of August because the program I was supposed to attend was going to end the following week and because I wanted to apply for the student visa because I got a scholarship that I can't defer and I've applied for the visa now.

But yesterday, I got a notification that my withdrawal request has now been successfully escalated. 2 hours later, they said my visitor's visa was rejected because my salary was not commensurate with my account balance and that there were numerous deposits in my account that they did not understand. 5 minutes later, they said my application has been successfully withdrawn.

I am very confused. Was the application withdrawn or was the visa application rejected?

My biometrics is next week and I want to know if I should just cancel the application or write a cover letter. I don't even know what I'll write in the cover letter because I'm fully funded and I didn't declare statement of account in the student visa application.

Please what do I do?

Thank you for your response, I mis-relate my case, sorry. I am on the verge of submitting my statement of account for CAS. But the way things are going September is not certain for me. My question now is, DO I NEED TO STILL APPLY FOR SEPTEMBER CAS THEN DEFER OR I SHOULD SEND A DEFER MAIL SO THAT THE ONLY CAS THEY WILL ISSUE TO ME WILL BE FOR JANUARY. Thanks in anticipation.

Hello

You don't need to apply for a CAs if you aren't sure you will meet up with September.

Defer to January and pick it up at the stage you left

Anyone with information about university of sunderland, I applied for October intake and I just got a conditional offer which requires payment of £3500 with proof of change of name and proof of being taught in English

I learnt someone who wasn’t your dependent during your studies cannot apply to be your dependent while on post study visa

How about a situation where a student gives birth to a baby while on post study visa, can she apply for the baby to be her dependent? Or what are the options available in this case?

This is messy

You applied for visit visa on the 5th knowing you will be going to study in the same country a few weeks after.

You were refused a visit visa despite your request for cancellation.Your application was assessed by an Eco and refused

If you are going for your biometrics you have to address this refusal with dates and reason and add why you have now decided to study because it seems odd

Do you mean your first bank statement for minimum 28days will reflect only yours and then you will include your dependants subsequently?

If so Yes, but ensure all evidence are minimum 28days on the day you apply for you and your dependants visa

Oh no. I applied June 20th for the visitor's visa for a 3-week program from July to August.

Since I didn't get the visa and time was going for resumption and the program was going to end August 11, I applied to withdraw the visitor's visa application on August 5 via a paid call stating that I would like to apply for my student visa and I was told that I would get a notification about it.


If I'm to write the cover letter, please what do I write?

Pls, how do I make paid call? Did biometrics August 3, got mail saying, my Tb cert couldn’t be found, i was instructed to scan my tb cert to the link sent to me. I replied on the 18th and I got an auto response immediately that it’s been added to my application and being worked on. This is the 5th working day now and my application still at DMC. This is for skilled worker visa.
