Send mail to your school to asked for online option and If they can make exceptions for you.
I got this kind of response from MP.
My program has only September intake but the school considered me and gave me till September 21st to come or defer

I received this mail from an MP last week, does this mean my application has been referred to a senior VO for further review, I ordered my GCMS notes it will be arriving second week in September, but my deadline is September 6th before my LOA expires. Next intake is September 2023, what do you suggest I do please

Hi oluwajuwonlo,

I don't know much about other schools right now. But I know Uwindsor might have some programs open now for May 2023 session. Try and go through the programs you might be interested in on their site. And you can always send an email to the school if you need more clarification on their admission.

I hope this helps.

oluwjuwonlo:

Thank you for the reply, please jenny, do you know of any school still open for January or can i apply for may or September for Windsor now ?

proof of payment
You can print out your payment receipt for that

Also your appointment letter
That's the mail they sent when you confirmed application
You can either print it out or just get ready to show them the mail at the entrance that's all

Application fee to five schools is expensive. You only need to apply to at most 3 if you're not certain of what the outcome would be.

To help you, you need to know if you need to opt for a master's or PGD,

Masters are usually (not always) more expensive than PGD if you're on a budget.
You will require a GPA from 2'1 above and your undergrad transcript to scale thru while you only need as basic as your Waec result to apply for PGD.
You get better funding in terms of Scholarships with masters unlike PGD (not always).
Acceptance to a masters program can take up to a month or more while a PGD can be in 2 - 3weeks.
Masters avail you the opportunity to further in terms of PhD unlike PGD.
Both avail you a pgwp if the school is a DLI and your program duration is 8 months and above.

So do further research and shoot.

Good luck.
what of 2'2 can't he go for masters

Don’t mix biometrics requirements with medicals... No photocopy of Passport for medicals... Just Passport, printed proof of payment and nose mask... then covid card if vaccinated

My aim now is to apply for a college admission in canada while I also create a stance in the express entry pool..

Although, I might return to nigeria for biometrics after I get a college admission...

Do you think that having a masters degree already would affect the VO's decision on my visa application?

Do I have to declare on my application that I already have a masters degree?

Please I currently hold a masters degree from a university in Asia...

From my observations on this thread, going for a lower program while declaring that you already have a higher certificate can be a red flag.... But people do it with a well presented SOP stating their reasons. Others simply avoid declaring they already have a higher certificate and apply with their lower program admission letter.

It's up to you to decide.

Good luck.

Hello, which portal did you use for your second time application?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by bullstriker: 3:50pm On Aug 28, 2022
If he changes the program and DLI before entering Canada, CBSA might ask him to go back and reapply. He can enter Canada with his original LoA, and inform IRCC via MyCIC account (old portal) of the change of DLI.

Ocool:
A friend just got his PPR to resume in September 2022, next month.

But the thing is that he wants to defer to save cost by going to another DLI which is about 50% cheaper in January 2023.

The tuition fee of the current DLI is 22,000 CAD but he has got admission to another DLI with just 11,500 tuition fee.

Is this possible? If yes, how can he handle it without having any problem later.

Pls if a 2yr Masters Degree program has a tuition fee of 3000CAD per semester, how many times should I multiply the semester fee to get the total tuition for the entire length of the program? How many semesters are there in a year in Canadian Universities?

The steps are on IRCC, you don't need to apply for a new study permit, here's the link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools.html

Wow! Thanks a bunch.

Actually he would have to reapply for study permit if he changes dli
Let me explain properly
Let him travel first of all and resume in the current school before Changing the DLI
If he changes it from Nigeria he would have to reapply for study permit since his current application has already been approved

If you check the ircc website it's says actively studying in Canada that's when you can change dli without reapplying

But if his Visa has not been approved he can change his dli by sending a webform with the new LOA while still in Nigeria

I hope I explained well
Please don't make any mistakes o

This thing is very important

PS: my Visa has not been approved and I also changed DLI if it had been approved I would have had to reapply to change DLI

Meanwhile my elder brother in Canada traveled first because his Visa got approved and when he got there he changed to a cheaper college and all he had to do was inform ircc of the change of school

I really hope this helps you

Thanks so much for this well detailed explanation.

I have a follow up question please. Did you your brother paid his full tuition or just a part before he changed his DLI?
