These are audio resignations. ASUU is only raising the alarm to coerce the FG into doing their biddings. Perhaps they went on vacations till their demands are met by the FG. The lecturers have more to gain than just quitting.

You're saying this because you're an APC apologist or you have nothing to do with academics now. Pls stay clear for now.

The brain drain Nigeria is currently experiencing is alarming. I personally know at least 6 lecturers who have relocated to the UK and Canada. Even Uganda, Ethiopia and Kenya are currently recruiting Nigeria academicians. Professors who are supposed to be mentoring young lecturers are leaving the country in droves. Don't be surprised if school resumes and more than half of university lecturers are out leaving massive vacuum that will take this country decades to fill. It is well.

You are wrong on this!

I have information of a handful of lecturers who have resigned even in my own place of work. I know one that left for Netherlands just last week.

The mass resignation is true. Not a political-motivated information.

So from your analysis, it is safe to deduce that all Nigerian lecturers are pedophiles, and they all go around harassing and victimizing students?

Just asking.

Yes more than 70% of them are after sex for Grade , and harassing female students; I thought they’ve stoped until my 19yrs old niece schooling in one these Uni in Ilorin gives me gist about Lecturers after her for sex, Phd holders ooo, one Olaifa, Atolagbe etcetera ! She said a week won’t go without one them pestering her.

Paedophile lots.

It will be wicked of any one to say what ASUU is doing is wrong. The government is wicked. They bought cars for Niger. They gave BA cash worth billions to sustain their operations because that's the airline they use when jetting out of the country. They gave katsina 6.25billion for cattle ranches. Other country employs our professionals uet we dont value them. Government officials take home is fat. This is why our education system has been rubbished. Their children go abroad yo study. They lecturers are peoples father and bread winners. Why can't govt make things right and our educational system becomes great and juicy for people to join as a career. Nigerians, vote wisely please and let's make Nigeria a better place to leave. Thanks

I feel ASUU are too self centered, the economy situations all over the world do not support such bogus requests at this umpteenth time. ASUU has never fought for the welfare of Nigerian students since i was born all they always ask for is salary, salary and salary increment. Let them resign in droves, we've got many brighter minds out there looking for opportunities.

Federal government should hands off the funding of the universities. The universities should be self finanancing and granted full autonomy

Learn to get your facts right! What is audio resignation?! You had better be joking!
Let them call off strike and see the remains then you judge. As it stands, the workload is much for those remaining. This, I say, is on good authority and source.

Remain blessed!

It has always been that way...

Meanwhile, government won't do the right thing....and raise fees, as well as widen the tax net...to adequately fund universites.

Honestly it's not audio resignation. It's real and I know some. This particular strike would reset many things in our universities.

That ASUU knows how to speak for himself. Allocation that you've been collecting that doesn't have any changes in the lives of students. A student staying for the duration of 5 years and above in university finishes without getting a job for another 5 years or above. Don't they have anything to do about this... Only striking and striking yet they will be paid for those periods. Thunder that will fire ASUU is still roasting in the volcano eruption
