Hi, I would advise not to defer your admission. Write to the school about starting your fall courses online while you wait for your visa. I know UofC gave international students this option due to the visa delay issues. University of Ottawa might do the same as most Universities tend to do same things. When you get a response, do a webform to IRCC about your application exceeding the processing time and the importanceof your studies; also the fact that you will lose money, your admission and time if you don't get a feedback by 20th of September. REVIEW OF ELIGIBILITY? "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" When your application status is as shown above, does this means your eligibility has commenced? |

Please I also need the experts' opinion regarding SOWP. I want my spouse and kids as home ties and they will join me, God willing, when I get my study permit. How best should I answer the question in the picture attached? bullstriker:

Hello house, So back in 2020 I had a remote programming job and earned USD monthly. I have legit employer payslips and Payoneer account deposit receipts and DOM account statement as proof. My savings in DOM account is enough for POF. Since 2021 Feb I’ve been doing freelance work with no salary earnings and I registered a company with CAC. Do I need to pay myself from my company as proof of employment and home tie? Or is my deed of assignment and payslips from the abroad company enough for my home ties? Also, the said property address corresponds to where I live both on the passport page and everything. |

Either is acceptable, even if you want to use your family as a home tie. Your answer here will not affect the outcome of your wife's application. Kehmy: |
