Na grammar you still dey yarn, if you were old enough in the 90s when witches openly confessed to their atrocities you'll understand why many people no dey pity dem. Nigeria is a country deeply embedded in its belief system, whether it is religious, tribal etc., the law does not recognize witchcraft hence people do what they must do!

Prove it. Prove it!! That is why the so-called powerful witches and wizards are living in squalor? Why can't they use their 'powers' to get a better life for themselves. Surely, if one had to power to influence a powerful human with a spirit and a will, they could magic an inanimate object like a nice house for themselves to appear in place of the pitiful hovels they mostly reside in. Most of these women are vulnerable widows without the protection of husbands and grown kids who have left home. Why is it the vulnerable they target? Like innocent children who cannot help themselves. Or old women and widows who are alone. Let me see them target a paramount ruler or community head's wife. The truth is we are wicked, evil, superstitious and backward. We wallow in ignorance and believe that every misfortune has to be caused by someone else. We have little sympathy for vulnerable people and target them in our frustration, then have the nerve to talk about african values.
