Chuksmission:
I have a few questions;
I've been admitted to Niagara College, and I need to start my visa process.
However, there are some issues that I'm facing at the moment, and here's the list;

First off,
I am a resident in Dubai, and I run a company here, which makes me eligible to apply for my study visa from here.
Now, the issue is that I do not have a UAE bank account at the moment to show proof of fund.
Will the embassy in Abu Dhabi accept a Nigerian bank account?

Secondly, can I use a Payoneer account statement for my application? I basically use my Payoneer card for every of my expenses in Dubai.

Apart from having money in your account. You need to prove to IRCC how you came about the money in that account and since you say you are operating a business you also need to show your tax records.

Happy Sunday to you all.

Please, do I need transit visa to travel through Qatar?

I intend using Qatar Airways.

Maybe the person you are paying weekly here will come answer your questions...

Peace
Hi Makano, I sent you an email, could you please respond to it? Thanks

How are you paying for the tickets? Debit card or bank transfer?

Good day house, please which is better for study permit application, POF in parents/sponsors account or the POF transfered to my naira savings account.
Hi Ysth,

Please note that parent sponsorship is almost as tenable as self-sponsorship. It wouldn't make much difference if you have the fund in your account or theirs. In terms of expressing commitment, that can be done duly by paying a fraction of your fees.

Can't wait to eventually celebrate with you!

Please who has made the WES payment himself or herself, and how did you go about it?

Naira cards won't work again, you will need a USD debit/credit card.

I think you need a good SOP. My brother travelled last month
He didn't submit his bank statement and he didn't even have a job.
He submitted his sponsor's bank statement only
Although he has some landed properties given to him by my father
His study permit application got approved

Do the best you can and hope for the best

Wow
Thanks

Someone suggested flutterwave, is that possible? Do you know who has made the payment?

Their USD virtual card (barter by flutterwave) no longer works. They sent a mail to communicate the info.

You can either Google and look for USD virtual cards that still work or get someone who has a Dom account and has a USD debit card to assist you.

This is the reason I posted the initial message. It looks like you have an idea, but you don't want to give out the info. Thanks anyway.

Hi everyone, kudos for all you do here.

I have a degree in Accounting from Nigeria, and currently I'm studying a Masters program in Financial investigation in the UK. I plan studying a program in Fraud Investigation in Canada in 2023.

Here is my concern, the Fraud Investigation program offered by the college is Post Graduate Certificate which is just 8 months. And I would like to use the program as a study route for the Canadian PR. Considering the period of the program study, will I be granted PR at all, or how many years, if yes. Does it make sense to go in for the program? And what is my chance of visa with the Canadian Immigration. Also, I am married and would want to go with my wife, not immediately though.

Please I would appreciate your sincere opinion, guidance, and advice.

Thank you

I replied cos I have made payment on wes recently and i have knowledge that naira cards no longer work for int'l payments. I used barter card for my payment before it was blocked. I don't understand what you mean by withholding info after responding to your questions repeatedly.

If you cannot google and get a virtual USD card that works like I did with barter card before it was blocked, be careful with sending your funds to someone and getting scammed here.

Google luck.

If you're serious about travelling, you need to open a dom account with any of the banks. Get a dollar card, and fund it with $ from aboki. With that you can do all your dollar transactions without issues.
